I just found out that I have a high (more than twice as high as its supposed to be) LDL-P level and my doctor wants me to start on Simvastatin. I am going to try to limit fat intake and put off the Simvastatin because the side effects sound scary (plus I don't want to be on any more meds). I re-check in June so wish me luck. Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so, have any of you been able to fix a LDL-P level with diet alone? Thanks
