I found a lump on my breast last night, so I went to my doctor today. She seemed mildly concerned, but it's deep so she ordered an ultrasound for Monday to get more information. I'm sure it's just Fibrocystic (?), but I'm a little worried. I'd be crazy if I wasn't. She also decided based on my responses to her questions, that she wanted to test my thyroid and my testosterone level for PCOS. So next week I'll either be getting a lot of good news, a lot of bad news, or a mixture of both. Staying positive and hoping for the best!! (But binging a little )

Stay positive! I have fibrocystic changes and my mom had breast cancer, but I try not to be worried about finding the occasional lump. For fibrocystic changes, they increase in size around our menstraution and then decrease, so that is something to be aware of. It is also common in premenopausal women. Don't stress about this, but still get the mammogram because it is better safe than sorry.

As a survivor of breast cancer, I can understand your concern. Whatever it is needs to be checked out of course, and then dealt with.

You are doing that, and evidently you are in good hands medically.

Sending up some prayers for you and agree with the other posters that you are taking all the right measures and that is good. Hopefully, it is just a benign cyst that may or may not need further attention ... you were blessed to receive such prompt medical attention; that bodes well for you too!
