Lightbulb Just new to the group and stuff.

Hi everyone! I am a newbie who just found this site tonight while searching for lowfat recipes. Very nice site!

Anyway, wanted to let you all know that I too have been battling the bulge. I have managed to go from 227.5 to 195.5 by myself but with Chemical depression, fibromyalgia and migraines I am starting to fall into the "winter blues" again and have gained back 1.5 pounds! So, I thought it was about time I started looking for a support group before I just totally give up.

I quilt and tat and have 4 grandchildren ages 5 and under. For exercise (when I am not around the grandkids) I walk on my treadmill. Who needs extra exercise when you are around little ones? LOL They keep you jumping enough!

Has anyone tried that "breathing" exercise routine to help with weight loss? I have seen in on the television but can't decide whether I should spend the money or not.... I may be blonde but I DO know how to breathe! LOL

Hope to be chatting with you all soon!

Hi there. Welcome to this site. If you are wanting to get on the Dieting with Fibromyalgia, just go down this list to Fibromyalgia #49 and come on in. It really is a battle to balance diet and meds and we know how you feel. One of our members has done the Oxycise, if that is what you are referring to. I have also tried it. Come on into the thread I mention and join in.
