Joanne ... if you shot yourself in the foot, I must've shot myself in the head!!! Daughter gave me an hour massage yesterday so I took her to lunch. We went to Cheddars and I got the pot pie. Had a salad first, off to a good start because I love the croissants but I cut mine in half and shared it with her then only ate about 2/3 of the pot pie. But ... Then she wanted a piece of choc. fudge cake. If you've ever eaten at cheddars you know their choc. fudge cake is huge (and has ice cream). We split a piece but it was still way more than I should have had. Then last night was our best friend's Ann. so I got a 1/2 sheet cake for them and we took it to Cracker Barrel after church where 40 of our friends met to 'surprise' them with it and I also had a piece of that. I only had a 1/2 salad though. Still gained weight this morning. Then this morning, I had a late breakfast with 2 friends at IHOP and got an omelette. It was huge and they also brought me a triple stack of buttermilk pancakes ... which I couldn't resist. I ate 1/2 the omelette and 1/2 the pancakes. We just kept sitting there talking and talking and talking. I kept picking and picking until I looked down and 1/2 the food was gone. I finally picked up the pancake plate a smooshed it down into the omelette and picked up the hotsauce and poured it all over th pancakes. They looked at me and said 'what did you do that for'. I said 'because I'm not eating any more of that stuff'. Then I got groceries and my daughter brought me her kids for the afternoon because school was out. I brought them home and Jenna wanted to make brownies. OH BOY. Well ... I had to have one. Oh, woe is me. Tomorrow night ... hubby and some other men (friends) are going to a conference. So ... it's girls night out for the wives. We are going to Logan's Steak House and then over to my friends house to play games. (And probably EAT some more.) Never ends. I have got to do something. Anybody got a muzzle?
TAMMY ... Happy BD next week in case I don't get back or I forget to tell you, since you'll be gone. Hope you have a good one and a good trip. I know you'll enjoy yourself. That's great about your Emmaus Walk and your weight loss. Keep up the walking and exercise. I'm going to try to do some more of that myself since I'm feeling a little better. It's getting warmer here. I'm really liking that. I've had my hands full lately but hoping that thing will start slowing down for me.
Sounds like everybody is busy, as usual. I guess that's a good thing. Shows we're not ready to give up, lay down and die!

Anne ... have you thawed out yet?

It was so warm here today, I was outside with a customer and I was actually hot! We have the airconditioner on. Joanne, hope the meds work for Christie. That sounds like a lot of work. So does that wedding. Mima, you've been working on that for months! Joanne, did you find a Strawberry Pie Recipe? Here's an easy one you might like.
