I'm hypothyroid too-- recently diagnosed, probably pre-Hashimotos (my antibodies are still quite high) and on Levothyroxine. I too have heard the soy thing-- with really passionate arguments from both sides, actually.
I like soy protein shakes and I will have an occasional one, but for the most part, I now avoid most sources of soy (I realize that it's in practically everything, but I am talking about direct, active consumption). For the record, I haven't noticed any huge difference in how I feel with or without it...


How meny times in our life time has butter been bad?? I gave up a while ago, I try for a low processed food diet with no additives and weird chemicals. Though I fell off that wagon for a bit, I'm feeling better and cooking again.
My kids are mad cause I will only buy them gum with sugar and it's getting hard to find!! They didn't need gum any way.
