Default Hot Flashes

Does anyone else have problems with sweating? I am very large 300lbs and I sweat from the time I get up in the morning until I go to bed. I mean hair drenched, dripping down my face and neck, sweat. I have hot flashes all the time.

I am not totally sedentary. I aerobically work out 3-5 times per week in the mornings. I sit at a desk all day, but I still sweat. I understand that I am going to sweat more because I am so overweight but this is ridiculous. Or is this normal?

Aside from losing weight (which I am working on) is there anything else I can do about this constant sweating? And what could this also be a sign of?

Any input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

if you are very overweight, that could be the cause of your hot flashes. the fat in your body is seen as an estrogen, and causes your body to do weird things. that's why some women have irregular periods and stuff like that when they are very overweight.

you should go to a doctor and get a checkup, because that could possibly be a sign of a more serious heart problem or something else that isn't fun.

good luck.
