Question Stevia and diabetes?

Can stevia ( natural sugar substitute) be used with
having type 2 diabetes?

am wondering about this??

Sure thing! It is sweeter than sugar so use sparingly. I even grew some in my garden one year.

Stevia has been shown to help stabilize blood sugar and so can actually HELP diabetics!

Lori,
I keep a shaker of stevia at my desk, and every day I treat myself to healthy fresh-brewed green tea, poured over ice that I've shaken my stevia onto. My stevia dissolves, my tea chills...ahhhh. Healthy, non carbonated, no fake chemical sweetener stuff in there...such a treat. Good for diabetics, doesn't raise blood sugar.
