Good Afternoon Everyone!
I tried posting this weekend, but my silly keyboard had other ideas. (a glass of water spilled on it a few weeks ago and now its pernickity!)
Hope everyone is feeling better.
Not much new around here, it rained off and on all weekend. Today is beautiful to look at (north wind is a little chilly) "They" keep forecasting snow, but thankfully not yet, I still have my summer tires on

A's 19th birthday is on Wednesday and it usually snows for that. I did spend an hour on the treadmill last night, so I feel pretty good about that. I just wish I'd get away from the salt so that I may see a downward change in the scale!
Cathy you asked about my stir-fry recipe, well I don't really have one. I just use a little olive oil and throw in crushed garlic and if I have ginger, then add thinly sliced meat, usually chicken. When that looks good I add my cut up veggies, carrots first and then whatever else I happen to have, usually onion, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, peppers etc. For a sauce I just mix up about a quarter of a cup of soya sauce, few shots of oyster sauce and hoisin sauce, a few sprinkles of seasame oil (ginger power if I don't have the real stuff) sometimes I add water if it looks to thick. Add a tablespoon or so of cornstarch mix it up and put it a well in the veggies and stir until thickened. If I have them this is when I add sugar pea pods and bean sprouts. Stir everything together and I like it over steam fried noodles.
Anyway I should get going I have to bake some cookies for school lunches.
Take care everyone,
K
