Post new here

and decided I would fit best in here. I am Lori. I am 35 married mommy of 2 children. My daughter is 14 and my son is 5. Hubby is 28.

I have been on antidepressants forever and finally had enough of them a couple months ago. Seemed like every single pill I was on I was eating eating eating.
Last yr I had a baby girl born too early in June 2004. She fought very hard to stay with us but lost the battle in Aug 2004. Since she has passed away I have NO will power to get rid of this fluff. I am so tired of being this heavy.
Since being off the antidepressants I have not lost any weight but I have not gained any either. I was 170lbs when my daughter passed away and am now up to 195.
Anyways I wanted to say hi and can't wait to get to know ya'll

Hi Lori, and

This is a wonderful place, I'm glad your here.
I'm so sorry to hear about your baby, I just can not imagine how that must feel, it is to sad even to think about. Are you or have you tried grieving counceling? I say that because in 1998 my sister died and since then I gained about 90 lbs. It really took a toll on me. I am just now, starting to come around.

I think its wonderful that you are going to get a jump on your weight before it really gets out of control like mine did.

Are you planning on exercising, joining any wl plan?

Hope to see you on the daily thread...thats where the chicks meet every day to talk about what ever is on their minds. The daily is the thread with that day's date on it.

Hugs !!!

thanks for the warm welcome.

I don't really have a diet plan in place yet. I am just concerned about my health I feel like I am falling apart. I am going to the dr today because I had routine blood work come back as diabetic. So I have to go to my pdoc for diabetic counsleing. I am also having issues with swelling. I need to get ahold of my health again.
