Boy what a rough week at work. I was so busy I could have cried LOL

How is everyone today ? Got any good plans for this weekend ?

How's the Christmas / Chanukah shopping comming along ?

I'm almost done w/my Christmas shopping. I have just a few odds and ends to get and I'm done.

I'm going to do a little cleaning and then its outside to let DD play in that 10" of snow we got yesterday.

I'm spending yet another sunny Saturday with the t.v., the computer, and my dog I'm working on posting some things on E-bay..hopefully I'm be able to figure the whole process out before Christmas !

I don't know if I told you yet or not, but I received some great news from my son:

HE GOT HIS GED!!! I'm so proud of him..can you tell!

The only other thing I have planned for today is working on my Christmas baking (baking, not partaking )

I love all these holiday smilies! A manger scene would be nice!

Oh JOY !! I'm so glad to hear your son got his GED !! BRAVO
I know how much you've wanted this for him and I can't blame you.

So what sorts of cookies are you baking ? If I start baking now, DH is in trouble, he eats most of it and he's trying to lose 10 lbs.. yeah I know but its alot for him LOL (brat).

DD is outside with DH playing in the snow right now so guess where I am at my favorite site

What ya baking? I am going to make whipped shortbread to give as gifts.....I bought some tins today for $2.48 and am going to give some to some of the people I work with.

Have done about 1/8th of my shopping. How can you be done Leens? Do you buy for many? What is everyone getting? We want to go away in the spring/summer so I am not getting too carried away.

Good Morning

Today is church and then home chores...nothing out of the ordinary LOL.

Liz what in the world is whipped shortbread? drooooool !!!
yes I have a lot of people to buy for, I started back in September, little by little. I hate when the stores are crowded so I shop early. I also shop during lunch and by internet. Shipping is free for alot of stuff so that makes it doubly nice The only one I'm not done for is DH. I haven't a clue. Men are hard to buy for.

Whipped short bread is flour, icing sugar and butter.......they melt in your mouth..........they aren't a hard cookie........a big hit! tiny cookies with a tiny piece of fruit in the middle for decoration.

I am supposed to teach sunday school today at 6 pm mass but it conflicts with a family obligation.......so I can't sleep cause I'm stressed about what to do. Need to find someone to do my 6pm mass and attend 11..........this is the sort of stuff that agitates me.....

Well we didn't make it to church today. Dh's company Christmas party was last night and he is still suffering. Hahah. I have done a fantastic job of maintaing my weight this week. Now that all the parties are over, I can kick it into high gear and get some weight off. I am going to get my Christmas cards ready to send by addressing them and things, but not sending out yet, cause our family pics aren't in yet. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
