Missouri - I didn't know you are in Missouri!
do you happen to be anywhere around Branson?
I've gone up there twice with my Mom and had a great time.
My mom's family is from St. Louis.
your food today sounds good - I love taco salad!
do you know about how many calories you usually eat a day?
seems like you keep your calories pretty low too?
have you lost 11 lbs since January 1 this year?
that's great!
Hey Cathy
I am not sure of the calorie count really but I am sure it isnt too high, I eat the taco salad without the shell so that helps a little too, and yes the 11 pounds is from the first of January...My goal is to hit 150 by my 10th wedding aniversary that is July 21st and I am busting my hump to get there, I got a Tae- Bo inspirational tape and I have done it every day this week so we will see if it helps speed up the losses
I am only 3 hours from St. Louis ....and I have family there too. I have only been to Branson once but I am going back in August with a friend from New York, who I met on these boards in the Tops section about 5 years ago, she is coming to stay with me for a week this year and we are going to Silver Dollar City, so I am looking forward to that She came 2 years ago and it was if I had known her all my life ...its neat how these boards can make you feel connected.
Well her is todays menu so far, I am going out to eat with my sister in law so I will fill in lunch when I get back...
Breakfast- side of eggs at Mcdonalds and a water
LUNCH- 1/2 turkey salad and a garden salad with ranch
Supper- 2 oz grilled chicken and a large salad with ranch and 1/2 oz dark 70%chocolate bar with 1 cup skim milk
hey christie!
of course I don't mind you asking me anything!
a pistolette (and I might not have the spelling right) is actually a little solid oval shaped roll, kind of hard on the outside, that you can bake in the oven, or fry in grease (which of course is what they do down here in good ole Louisiana when you are frying fish). It's really good - but it's fried.
Ya know, when I got home yesterday I was gonna hurry and do a 30 minute walking video, but my dear sweet hubby was fixing supper when I got there, and when I saw that he was frying fish, and french fries and rolls....well I just thought...."what's the use, this is gonna blow it anyway!" But really, I ate small portions, and I can't think like that - I need the exercise regardless - and besides a little exercise would have helped burn up a few calories. goofy thinking huh!
