Buddly - LOL yes! That's how our backyard is. Cept we have a mixture of hay and weeds hehehhehe. I'm so excited about finally doing the backyard, just not excited about the cost!
This weekend has been very busy for us, Saturday we spent the whole day out in the yard and as well at lowes and home depot. We picked up some timber for the frame we are going to put around the pool. Then we spent the day digging up the sprinkler system and removing the sprinkler heads so the tractor that is being delivered this weekend, won't destroy them.
Today we got out aroudn 9am and did some window shopping for plants and some landscape books. I'm pretty happy with the layout I came up with for the backyard. They hard part is now we gotta lay everything out in the actual backyard so we can see ho wmuch space we are taking up. It looks so much nicer on paper
We went to a HUGE landscape place. We took a look at some flagstone, and I found a really nice pattern. It is red with some tan and dark reds mixed in. I told James it almost looked like the surface of Jupitar. They let us take home a nice size piece so I could lay it in my grass. BEAUTIFUL! It's called Grand Canyon. We got sand ordered and it will be delivered this Friday morning so we can use the Tractor to scoop it up rather than have poor James use the wheel barrel. Much faster and it saves his back hehehehe.... Now we're just relaxing for a bit, having some lunch, and then we're going to head back out to the yard and do some more work. This is going to take a while to do, so we've got our hands full for .... well... we're hoping to be done by summer LOL! This is a case where I can definately say, my eyes were bigger than my stomach... at least tho it wasn't on calories... just dollar bills
EEK!Hope everyone is doing well... I'll have to give everyone a rain check on replies

Take care...
Sue...

(Which of course we know is temporary
