Good Morning

I have my coffee too but I'd never pass on a 2nd cup thats for sure. Got some cinnamon buns to go with it ?

Joanne & KO good to see you, hope you have a wonderful Friday

Well lets see, the boss is out today and I'm feeling kinda naughty like like like like I wanna take my remote controlled fart machine out and put it in the break room
You know something along those lines.

Hope you all have a nice weekend ? got any plans ?

Tomorrow its going to rain so cleaning it will be. I also have to cook for MIL and I would like to make some soup. Sunday is running to both my Mom and MIL's house for Mom's day and then home to enjoy whats left.

How bout you all ?

Well, howdy hi everyone! I just realized that I haven't posted in awhile. I pop in and check up on everyone, but forget to post.

Did I mention that I almost cut the tip of my finger off with a scissors while sewing? Oy vey, that smarted! It's healing well but interfers with typing, crocheting and sewing.

On Mothers Day, we're going to brunch with DD and her family. Then it's the usual, going to the city to shop...groceries, painting stuff, maybe a craft/sewing store.

It's spring in the country and the tractors are a-buzzing all over the place. Leenie, do you remember the "boyfriend"? He's across the road plowing up a field today. I'd moon him but he'd have a heart attack. Anyway, it wouldn't be a good idea for the church secretary to moon the head usher, would it! That would be an interesting topic of discussion at the next Elders meeting!

Hi All
Good to hear from you Tippy..........you fiesty little thing!

I walked over 3 miles this a.m....like an old work horse training for the Derby! Ha! (old gray Mare)

TODAY I am doing as I please..gonna shower and shop for flowers...enjoy the day and attend a cookout for Josh's 5th BD today.some of you may remember...when he came home from the hospital to our house for 13 months.seems like yesterday!

Tomorrow I work 3 meetings in a row.first one at 7AM.90 memeber meeting.they wanted me to sub all 4.I told them I would like to live to see Mothers Day Sunday! See? I can say NO sometimes!

Of course it is Derby weekend in Ky..............I have never gone to the Derby but watch the parties and race on TV.some use it as an excuse to EAT Derby pie... hey I am not walking 3 miles a day to eat pie NO WAY........PIE IS HIGH! (in points)

Later taters
Take Care!

Yawn! I'm beat, have not been sleeping well, taking something, then not being able to get up, I'm all out of sync.

Mothers Day will consist of Bar-B-Q at my bro''S... with me and my SIL doing the foods...shrimp cocktail and a fruit platter/yogurt dip from me along with wine, SIL will do Bar-b-Q chix, salads, grilled sausages, birthday cake for my nephew.

Holidays are hard for me as my daughter (and only child) refuses to attend...i have given up on this one, she's an adult, she can have her opinion, she can do what she wants, wrong or right, so we always extend an invite, but don't beg her to attend. We just ignore her absence. She thinks she is *punishing* me for whatever reasons in her head, but she's only hurting herself by continuing to blame me for everything that is wrong in her life....... However, it is very depressing at times......

I took yesterday off and went shopping, bought some nice new lingerie and relaxed a little......

Hope you all are going to enjoy the weekend.....I hear RAIN again here,.

Marble
Just wanted you to know I am sorry.no Mother deserves that kind of treatment. Yessssssssssssss being a Mother has "painful"sides too!

My daughter was not with me when she was 18 & 25................my heart ached but we were both "stubborn" enough to be without each other during those times. She still hasnt changed much at 30 but I have come to accept.I have done all I can do.........the rest is up to her. I BELIEVE some day it will all be better and she will start making better hoices....until then I love her as she is...................and she in turn loves me as I am!

So.hold your head up and trudge on!!!

Sincerely!
Cin

Hey all-- only one exam left to go. It is pouring here-- expecting 1-2 inches with blowing winds. I got so wet going from the car to class. I'm on a roll with my protein milkshakes. So much easier. Ate a real dinner last night and felt nauseus all evening. I am actually grateful for the nasty feeling-- who wants to eat when they feel yucky!

PS-- The cinnamon rolls-- just ate a South Beach Cinnamon Raisin Breakfast Bar. Reallu good and only 140 cals, 10 gr protein 5 fat grams(2.5Sat)

Hi, everyone,

I am still here. Hope everyone is doing well. I am BUSY with job-hunting. Next Wednesday I am going to a meeting of employers where I will get a chance to do a "live resume"----most people skip doing it and just show up and hand out resumes, but if you do the live resume, you stand a much better chance AND every employer attending the meeting gets a copy of your resume in their packet. Scarey, but I can do it....other then that, stress is making me eat just a little too much every day, darn it. Well, I mean I guess I am choosing to do that. Any ideas? I am following WW, so I have a specific plan, but I am getting kind of bored with it. Hope everyone has a blessed day.

good morning gang!

wow - what a lot of great posts!

Tippy - so good to see ya girlie! sorry about the finger! I am glad you are going to brunch with dd!!! you need to post more often!

Joanne - did you finish your coffee yet? what ya up to?

Liz - did dd13 call home? everything still ok?

KO - glad to see ya! were you the first one at work today? hope the funk lifts!

Leenie - so are you being naughty at work? sounds like you have a busy weekend again.

Cin - you are exercising like crazy! you go girl! so proud of you! my exercise is down the tubes right now, but I will get back to it. I remember Josh coming home with you - can't believe that boy is 5 now! boy how time flies!

Marble - I am so sorry about the situation with your daugther. I hope that you have a nice time with your brother and sil

Tcstart - I know you will be so glad to finish with exams!

Hey Kathy - I have never heard of a "live resume" - hope it all goes well. You will have to tell us about it.

I'm taking my mom to lunch in a few minutes. She loves the buffet at our best chinese restaurant so that is where we will go. Not very good for healthy eating but it will be a nice treat. Have some old movies on dvd for her and some flowers and my dh just brought a bag of fresh fish filets to give to her to eat for supper. There is nothing in this world that I could possibly get my mother (as she has it all or goes and gets it when she wants it) so I just try to get her some things she might enjoy and the only time she has any fresh fish is when we get it for her.

Sunday I'm sure we will go by and see dh's mom after church. and I have plenty of other things to keep me busy this weekend.

Hope everyone has a blessed day!

hugs,
cathy

Morning gals. It's been very busy lately. I'm trying to decide if I will come back to the school district the next school year or if I will work at the local Child Development Center. There's pros and cons to both sides.

This week hasn't been that great for my diet. I have weigh in tomorrow. I'm debating on using my no weigh in pass.

This year is the first year I'm away from my mother. It's going to be hard, but I'll make it through. I'll be going home for 2 months in about 4 weeks so it won't be so bad.

May you each have a blessed weekend.

ps. Joyce what part of SE Ga are you in? I'm originally from Hinesville which is about an hour drive from Savannah.

I am scrapbooking all day tomorrow.

I have hired my hubby as my personal trainer.........told him I will pay him with...........well you know..........

Anyhow good to see everybody posting.

Gotta plan something with my mom for mothers day.....working evenings in ER though so not sure what we will do..maybe brunch sunday.
