Good morning, ladies,

I am so envious of those of you who have work to go to. I am still looking, and it is getting hard to have so much time on my hands and being alone too much. I stay pretty busy usually, but a job will be a godsend.

Kier, keep trying. It would be so hard to have people bringing in treats, I think. At least I can control that part of my environment.

I am sort of taking the day off. I want to read and lay on the couch a little bit. I will work out sometime today. Strength training at home (push-ups, crunches, dips, squats and lunges), then go do some cardio with my daughter later. Eating is still going o.k. (WW). I found out my sister is doing WW right now. She has lost 10 pounds and has 10 more to go. She goes to the meetings and everything. I might decide to go to the meetings at some point, but not right now. I am finding that I don't want to go out of my points range, which is really nice. Hope it lasts. Take care, everyone. Have a good day.

Good Morning Everybody!

Hope you all have a great weekend! I am going to do something for ME! it's just exercise but it is all tied in with feeling and looking better....I figure I deserve it, I had to get up at 430AM to get to work for 7AM to start surgery exams...YAWN.

I can't remember who asked me yesterday about my gym...but it is a corporate type, located in an adjacent building. it's a cost of $3.00 a week full facility and personal trainers, (exercise physiol.). I'm employed by state govt. in a large medical complex and the gym is incorporated with physical therapy and cardiac rehab.(for which they charge the patients health insurance). I like it because the atmosphere is on health, not selling and being primped in vogue outfits.

the drawback is limited hours (they close at 830PM, no weekends) so I have to find another exercise for the weekends, but the price is right and there should be no excuse that I don't go.

Have you ever wondered why one persons size 26 is another persons size 30 or even the reverse where one persons size 26 is another persons size 24… well anyways, I guess I should get to my point hehehe… anyways I have this shirt that I bought a while ago, and ever since I gained weight and had stayed at 378-380lbs, I have never been able to wear it, because it was a bit snug. It’s one of those shirts with and inside shirt and the outer shirt has a single button at the bust line, not sure if that makes sense… however, today I pulled it out of the closet because I figured… hey I’m down to 354lbs, that’s a good 25lbs less than what I used to be so why not try it on. So… I try it on… and well… it fits I don’t have any fear of my busts… busting the button

I thought I would just share a little happy thought today

Well, I am definitely disappointed in having to yet again postpone our wedding. Even if it was a year and half off. However, James and I talked and I think there may be a way to work this out. I went through and calculated all my classes out… I think I should be able to get done by either winter session or spring session. Wooo… it’s gonna require some finessing. But definitely… it’s being put off, but maybe not for as long as I was expecting… we shall see. All is well tho… I was feeling down about it all… it was a heat of the moment type of rambling… sometimes it helps to just ramble needed to get some frustrations out… hehehe… thanks for listening everyone…

Tkdkathy – I know how you feel… I was in the same position for a while… looking for a job… a lot of the places out here are on hiring freezes… specifically the school districts and state jobs. Keep up the search, it will pay off eventually… it took me a while. I hope you find a job you will enjoy!

Off to work now… take care everyone!
Sue..
