Good Morning Ladies!

It's a gorgeous day in NJ, (go figure I have to work). I worked out at home and lasted 44 mins. with ellip. machine and circuit weight training (I do my own little session with FitTV for company and worked up a good sweat at 6AM). I brought my sweats to the office and will hit the gym this afternoon for 30 mins.

I found the daily message at www.bottomsville.com to be very true for me today. And the picture is hilarious.

OK, so the scale didn't move yesterday, BUT the good news is that I can see a difference in that bathroom mirror....I no longer cringe and I SWEAR my buttisimo is riding higher....there is less flab to grab around my middle and my clothes are not "bunching".....

I am aiming to keep up the exercise time and be consistent for the next month....before I ask my Internist to give me something stronger than Xenical.....

I have been working on cross stitch alot in the past 2 days.I am trying to get the outlining done.

Good morning, everyone,

Good morning, Cathy.

Marbleflys, good job on the workouts! Are you using Xenical? What exactly is it?

I am doing well on WW. I am so relieved. I truly think this is going to work for me. Like I am really ready to move this weight. I was before, actually. I just feel happy that I have gone back to WW and feel good about it so far. I am still a bit nervous, hoping I won't get discouraged and stop. I hope I show a weight loss this week, that would definitely be an encouragement. I know about having a friend do WW with me---she may decide to bail out, but I don't think that will cause me to quit. And it is nice having someone to do it with. I see my friend this morning, so I will talk to her about it.
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Oops, hi, Lynnie. We must have posted at the same time. I sympathize with you feeling bloated. I hate feeling that way. It is discouraging. But stick with it. The bloated feeling will go away. You are doing WW, too, right? So we have to stick together, o.k.? Have a good day.

Hi Kathy:

Xenical is a prescription diet pill that only reacts with your GI tract, it's called a "Liphase Inhibitor".(no side effects other than expelling 1/3 of the dietary fat you take in). It's not very popular, but it does keep you VERY honest about what you eat, or the consequences can be uncontrollable (I'm being very PC here, hope no one is offended). you can check out the drug company's website for info. The generic version is due to come out soon (its expensive if your insurance doesn't cover it).

Lynnie:

What part of the grocery is it in? By the dairy or the canned fruit? I'm going shopping tonight and this sounds like a satiisfying treat that won't kill the diet (like a pint of Haggen Daz).

KO, you are the very first person to tell me about those reverse effects! Believe me I thought twice before having just 2 spoonfuls of potato salad at lunch!

Its in the canned fruit section.it will be among all the fruit cups.I hope you like it.You will have to let me know.

I just got done WATP 1 mile.I thought I would start light since I haven't exercised in so long.Plus i didn't want to set my asthma flaring.I am sweating up and storm.I am hoping to increase it after a week. But in the meantime I earned 2 points for the 15 mins I did do.Getting back into the swing of doing exercise is rough.

I'm feeling much better now. Slight sore throat, and I still get dizzy when I stand up. I may I think have had an ear infection as well... my ear did hurt, but I thought it was sympathy pain from my throat hurting (mainly because it didn't really feel like an ear ache) I have been sleeping alot, which i guess in this case was a good thing, because I'm feeling much better. I want to thank everyone who sent well wishes. Hopefully I can get over this bug and get myself back on track, I wish I had that “not hungry” feeling more often like when I was sick hehehehe. I’m attempting to go to work today.

I’ll try to do more personalized replies once I feel up to staying up longer. I hope everyone is doing okie!

Take care…
Sue…
