Good Morning everybody!!! I'm all revved up from 4 cups of coffee....managed to work out again this AM for 30 mins.....

The sun is out in NJ, but it's COLD, after being quite warm for the past week. (50s)...I like that we have a little more daylight now, for a while it was dark when i left for work, dark when I came home....

Lynnie does your OhBee/Gyn have the heated stirrup-booties and table at least? (its the little things)...reminds me that I am long over due to make an appt.

Good morning, everyone,

Thanks for getting everyone started, Joanne.
Leenie, I am glad you and your daughter are feeling better. I hope you have a good, restful weekend.
Lynnie, I am sorry you didn't sleep well. I hate not getting a good night's sleep. I hope tonight is better for you.
Marbleflys, good job working out! I do my workouts later in the day. If I am lucky, my daughter goes with me. I need to get more variety going, though. It is getting boring---treadmill and stationary bike.
Kierie, what is the pretzel thing? I admire your discipline in keeping the cookies away from your self.

I had another yucky night with the snacking, darn it. Maybe I should be more disciplined and have a more definite plan?? I just kind of try to eat less and not snack if I can. It is not working so well. I think some kind of plan might be a better idea?? Then I'll go nuts trying to figure out a plan. Do you guys have a good way of breaking down your goals into more manageable pieces? I have such a long ways to go---I have never been this heavy---it is kind of overwhelming. I want to feel like I am actually starting something that will get me to my goal---and I want to start it TODAY! Maybe I can find a way to have a plan and not let it overly stress me? I would love to hear any ideas you have that might work for me. Have a great day!

KO, A Jersey girl without Big Hair???? In another life I was the original Carmela Soprano! you should see my nails. I thought that the Bellyslayer's idea about eating chocolate was good...eat it in your bathing suit in front of a mirror...the visualization is enough to keep me from doing it!

kathy--if you are going to snack, trying making a plan....line up a variety of cut veggies and fat-free spinach dip (with yogurt or ffree sour-cream), tomato bruscetta, or slasa, measured out so you know exactly how much you are eating....(the fiber alone will fill you up)....decaf. tea with lots of splenda or good old cool-whip for sweets

I try to exercise both AM and late afternoon if I can....this way if I miss one, I don't feel guilty. I just hope I can stick with it!

Hi Liz A gym is a great place for a kids party glad you are back!
Kathy it was something that guy from Marbles link wrote about snacking on bad things you should check it out Snack wise ahve you tried crunchy veggies even if you did baby carrots and FF dip or Reduced fat peanut butter (I'm a PB fiend I gave it up for lent) or a bowl of highfiber cereal Fiber one or maybe one of the Kashi cereals

I have to get my arse in gear and clean!

Thumbs up

KO (or is it KP with 10 lbs. of potatoes?)....My relationship with my manicurist has lasted longer than my last boyfriend... they are just acrylic overlays, i keep them med. length and this week they are baby-pink with double-shaded V-french tips......

I realized that if I wanted to get this weight off, certain foods cannot be in my house because I'm like an ADDICT....I'll get up at 3AM and "just one taste" turns into 500 calories inhaled....

I went to the gym this afternoon too! Did 35 mins. on the ellip. machine and supposedly burned 305 calories......then did chest/lats and leg work...I'm still rehabing my fractured elbow, but I can now straighten out my arm and am working on getting the strength back. And my flexibility is non-existent so I am trying to get that back too.

Now if I can just eat a decent dinner....

Well we finally got the distilled water for the humidifier on my CPAP machine so that will help because it did while I took a nap today. It was very warm in the dr's office today. But you know what I can't stand the paper on the examining table sticking to my butt.My husband was in the room and said I needed to feed my butt because my butt was eating the paper. I like taking him in the room because then I don't have to tell him whats going on; he's already there.

*hugs*
