good morning gang!

it was good to see lots of posts yesterday!

Leenie - I am so sorry you are not feeling well. hope you feel better soon!

KO - you had a busy day yesterday and sounds like another busy one today. Do ya'll set up the christmas towns/villages under your christmas tree? have fun at the restaurant tonight - usually grilled chicken and a salad goes well on most of our diets.

Cin - imagine you have lots of ww meetings today. enjoy abby's program tonight.

Joanne - I hope things went well at the jail ministry last night. I will keep your son and your family in my thoughts and prayers!

Liz - CONGRATS on the A- WOW should be proud! that's is awesome! glad you survived your weekend. it is craziness having that many teenagers sleep over. never a dull moment huh. hope your dd enjoyed it and hope she is feeling better today!

SueMarie - CONGRATS on your grades too! they looked awesome to me! you made a lot of A's and that's awesome!

April - I am so glad that you have more energy! It is so good to hear you feeling better!

It is cold here today! finally! we had a light freeze this morning and it is still suppose to be 26 tomorrow morning. everybody is bundled up this morning like it's the snow storm of the century hahahaha - knit hats, gloves, knitted scarves, big ole heavy coats - it is too funny really - a bunch of cajuns all bundled up like oversized stuffed animals LOL (btw - I am not bundled up - just wearing a shirt sweater - silly people) LOL

so what is everybody up to today?

hugs,
cathy

Wink Good day ladies

Well, I stepped on the scale today and I gained back 3 lbs. I haven't been doing too well on my food. The Lexapro is working-unfortunately, it's working on my appetite too I've come this far-I'm not going back now

Leenie: Please take care of yourself-feel better soon!

Cathy: I can sympathize with all the bundled up Cajuns I grew up in New England, where cold & snow was no biggie. It's surprising how fast I lost my tolerance for cold when I moved down here Just think warm thoughts

Liz & Sue Marie: Congratulations on your grades! SueMarie, don't worry about that 1 C-be proud of what you've accomplished Liz, congrats to you too on surviving the slumber party!

Lynnie: Sounds like a good day to hunker down in the house

Kierie: You've got a good plan going. I'm sure you will find some South Beach-friendly restaurants. Enjoy your dinner!

Lanee: How's your daughter doing? Will she been in the hospital much longer? I went through this with our son too. I'm here if you need to talk.

April: Your posts have really been an encouragement to me. You're doing great on WW, and overcoming depression

Hope everyone is having a great day

Talking Good News!!

My test results came back: I'm NOT a diabetic!!

Kierie: You're getting a walker tomorrow? Rolling or regular? (mine is rolling). A personal question-what is your handicap? Mine is nerve damage in my right leg and lumbar/pelvic area (as well as a busted ankle! ) I'm mostly wheeling around or sitting in my wheelchair. I don't qualify for a scooter . Hopefully, in the future I won't need one!

Homebound....thanks for the kind words.....I have struggled with depression for over 2 decades.....I never did very good with regular antidepressants....& of course I wanted to always eat everything in sight.
Sometimes I feel like I should pinch myself....lol.....for 6 weeks I have felt really good....the difference is the meds the naturopath prescribed....& they don't have the side effects the regular antidepressants have.
I am so glad for you....about not having diabetes....for me it is always a worry....every year I get tested.....so far....I am not a diabetic either.
