Good Morning,

I couldn't sleep anymore, my throat is hurting. I'm gonna head off to the store for some coldeeez (sp?) that stuff works! but the store doesn't open for another 2 hours LOL.

Lets see today is cookie and spinach dip making day along with cleaning my messy house. I have a few more gifts to wrap as well.

Tomorrow is a little get together at my sisters house and thats about it for plans....... I'm happy, I like weekends to myself. I love to sit all day saturday in my jamies but thats only in the winter, for some reason in the summer I can't. I get antzy and want to go outside.

Lynnie, good to know your doing better sleep wise, one day at a time, you'll get there. Tell DH he can bake me some chocolate cherry cookies

Lanee, good luck this morning with the doctor call. I hope its good news for you and your family, I'll be praying for you. Have a good day at work.

I just read all the posts from yesterday and now I can't remember them. duh. but it sounds like everybody is busy with lots of stuff going on.

I'm sitting on the floor bu the Christmas tree with my son's lap top, and drinking my coffee. The sun is just coming up outside. Looks like we should have a beautiful day and the forecast says it will stay pretty and cool all week. I hope they are right!

I've got to clean house today and do laundry. dh is gone deer hunting and will be back home tomorrow night so I'm not planning on doing much cooking, just some quick and easy things when my guys are around - I think they have a lot of plans this weekend. They were both out last night with friends and it was quiet here for a few minutes.

Hey Ladies, Ya'll are up early this morning. I am drinking my second cup of coffee now. The clock woke me up at 6:30am. But I got out of bed at 7:10 . I talked to my daughter and her counselor already. I sounded soo good to hear her voice!! She sounded so sweet. Hope that lasts! I do miss her though. She should be home by Tuesday morning. I wonder if it will be as crazy today as it was last night. Probably.

Well I woke up this morning to flakes flying.The snow is falling and its melting as it hits the ground.This is just the prelude to what is coming Monday and Tuesday they say.I am excited about the first full snow fall.Its all the others that bother the heck out of me.
I have no idea how I am spending today because my tummy is achey.

Lanee I'm so glad you got to hear your daughters voice hopefully this is all a step in a better direction. When we dated the first time my DH attempted Suicide (years ago) and he got the help he needed So I know how you're feeling!
Lynnie I love watching the snow fall! As long as I don't have to go out in it
DH and I spent the morning at the MVS (the new name for tthe DMV) In edison DEAR GOD I was such a wreck from all the rudeness and negativity by the time i got to the test I missed it by one question and then got yelled at by a mega rude employee
Luckily I walked over to this individual before DH had a chance too or there would have been an altercation.
We did brunch at the diner and I had a spinach feta and garlic Omlette sooo good and yes i'm a bit aromatic now...But i didn't choose my other choice Taylor ham egg and cheese on a hard roll it's cholesterol on a bun, but its an NJ classic breakfast/late night snack
Mom's coming over to do my hair The new color will be Dark Chocolate! (insert hairtoss here) when DH comes home from the tree sale we are doing thank yous and then he goes back to the tree sale and I'm riding over to the party we're goign to tonight with a gf and he's following a bit later.
Tommorrow Train show and food shopping and hopefully laundry and more thank yous

Cathy glad you enjoyed your morning, I like sitting just looking out the window these days w/a cup of coffee and a snuggly blanket.......go ahead say it.... "old fart" LOL Its amazing what you appreciate when you get older.

KO taylor ham OH YUM!!! I love that stuff, and yes, on a roll w/egg and cheese or on a bagel. Heart attack on a bun for sure. When my sister lived in california, she used to come visit us and my mom would freeze an entire taylor ham, which was from the deli case so it was about 2 feet long and my sister would carry it back to california on the plane w/her...you know that darn thing didn't defrost all the way. That was one of the things she missed in NJ. She also missed the texas style hot dogs we have here....mmmmmmmmmmmmm !!! Good bagels too.

Lynnie I'm the same way, the first snow is okay (if I'm home lol) but after that its depressing. Enjoy it while you can.

I did very little cleaning, like zilch. I have got to have the flu, I am sick to my stomach, sweaty, cold and have a headache. DH is off to the store for me. I'm hungry but feel like I can hurl. My back even hurts...sad huh LOL ROFL !!!!!!

We are sitting here watching Garfield (the movie) its cute, he burps alot which DD finds funny.

Christmas shopping is done except for my one neice and my mom Tomorrow I'll mail my christmas cards.

I could use a nap.... (wishful thinking lol).

Wowwwwwwwwwwwww I am tired! Two fun get togethers and housework starting at the crack of dawn........now it is 10PM and I am baking MORE cookies for the teens get together tomorrow night at church. I am cheating and making the slice & Bake.since they scarf them down like chips!

I am baking tonight so I can hopefully take a nap tomorrow afternoon...........!

The "Tea" was great and the Potluck with the work gang was nice too!

Cold but the snow didnt show up....we NEED a little ! Send us some of yours you all!

Gee I hope the sun comes out today, this is getting me down, but I think they are calling for snow late tonight.

Today is more laundry day, and thats about it, I have 0 energy to clean upstairs. It will have to wait until next weekend.

Most likely tomorrow I'll be calling in sick, I feel miserable with this cold so I'm not even gonna try to get to work.

I'm supposed to go to my sisters late this afternoon but I might stay home and have DH bring the food I made for her party to her. I'd be just plum tuckered !!!

Liz, 8 little girls....egads, what were you thinking LOL !! I'm sure they had a blast and you enjoyed watching them. When I was little I was not allowed to sleep at my friends houses because I sleep walk and my parents were afraid....so was I actually lol. Hope your house isn't to bad today and thanks for the well wishes.

Cin I like those slice & bake rolls, they are cute. Did you get the sugar cookies with the trees ? My DD loves to make those. Have a good time today.

I go to work from 9-6pm. today.. I wonder how busy it will be today.

Well its snowing again!!! This time it was actually snow and no rain mixed in.I am going to make kolaches in alittle while.But right now; I am kinda frustrated because our truck is acting stupid again.But I hope yall have a good day.

Leenie, my back is much better. I had a set back (pardon the pun) in November with it. I wasn't getting to the gym (only went 6 times in as many weeks) due to family stuff/mood/work load at work and I think that's what set it off again. I have noticed it is feeling much better since I've been back to the gym regularly for the past three weeks. thanks for asking.

Son found a one bedroom affordable apt and moved in four nights ago. We had to help him with first month rent and damage deposit because of course he has no savings. It came up thru word of mouth and he had very little notice. So he's safely stowed in his own place. We bought him a tv for Christmas and gave it to him early. He has an x-box and the thing truly keeps him off the streets and out of trouble. The tv he had was stolen along with his previous roommate's stereo in early Oct.

I have heard so much about WW online. Being a life time member, (only not attending/following program) I know what a great program it is. So, just now, I joined online. I can't get to the meetings here in town. The times just don't work for me and the last time I went, the leader was not the most revved up, motivating person. I hope the online thing will work for me. I've joined for 3 months, so will give it a good shot.

We are supposed to go to a pot-luck with the judo club today. Daughter and hub will go. Our contribution is slowcooking in the oven right now. Wild boar roast (and will put veggies in with it later). I'm not going to go. I've been to far too many pre-Christmas events and am just not up to it - emotionally or food wise. I'll stay home and get my Christmas cards started. I'm so behind. Christmas here is a one-woman show and after 25 years, I'm beat.

PS... Hub was successful in his black belt grading yesterday, so he is now officially a Shodan (first degree black belt; there are ten degrees of black belt). Daughter came home with the only medal on the provincial Junior squad from an out of province competition two weekends ago. She will be eligible for her black belt grading in about a year.
