Good Morning Gang!

Liz - I will be praying that all goes well tomorrow. Please keep us posted! Wish we lived closer together - I could use a good CPR class. Never have gotten around to that.

Leenie - have you been tested for allergies before or is this something new you are checking into? Hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Smile118 - Welcome! Jump right in with us. I look forward to getting to know you!

Dee - did you find a new winter coat yesterday? you said your old one is too big. I see that you were at 207, and now you are down to 165! wow! I guess that old coat would be too big! that's awesome! you must feel great! tell us how you lost 42 lbs! I love success stories!

April - I am so very glad to hear that you are finally feeling better! it's about time huh! I hope you keep feeling better & better!

Joanne - how is your son doing these days? how are you? sorry them Yankees aren't cooperating with ya!

Cin and Tippy - where ya'll at girls? what ya'll doing? we miss ya'll!

Summertime will not cut lose of Louisiana. It's gonna be 90 all week. yuck! I'm ready for some fall weather!

Ok gang, as much as I don't want to, I have got to get on this paperwork! I would like to just climb on top and jump off, but I guess I'll just work on one piece at a time!

The Biggest Loser starts tomorrow night on NBC. Anybody gonna watch it besides me? I will have to tape it to make sure I get to see it. Sometimes it is almost impossible to sit down and watch an hour of tv at my house, but I like to watch this kind of stuff.

hope everybody has a blessed day!

hugs,
cathy

Good morning everyone

I woke up this morning to snow on the ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......it is still October.....am not ready for snow......right now.....it is still snowing!!!!!!!!!!!!

DS3 & his GF came over for a visit yesterday afternoon......I gave them some cherry tomatoes to take home......DH must have had about 25 tomato plants......& we still have some tomatoes left.....they are in the garage. In the winter here.....the tomatoes have no taste.....so we will enjoy them while they last.

Default Howdeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi Gals
Have not been in for a while.......worked a lot last wek...just been plain ole busy!

Since my BD I have experienced more co-pays at the Dr and no Sr discounts for being 55! Even went to eye Dr and found out cataracts are starting I said "You got to be kidding!" I am not concerned in the least at this point! It is "almost" funny!

Weds Oct 27th.I am having my index finger joint fused like I did last Oct with the other finger. The good news is that this time I will not have 2 pins sticking out of it to deal with.He will put one long screw in the joint to stabalize it this time and when it is fused he will take out the screw Oh boy! I dread 10-12 weeks of restrictions and not getting it wet and wearing a splint thru the Holidays but to put up with the pain to have a pain free joint for the rest of my Life will be worth it!

As far as the diet police.I just polished off my Core lunch....which consisted of tomato soup...a big salad with chicken and 1/2 cup corn! I am full & satisfied.

I am making Veggie Lasagna in the crockpot before I go back to work because I dont get home until 8:15 on Monday nites and it will be ready! along with another salad ( I never tire of a good salad)! I love the whole wheat lasagna noodles too!

Welcome all new people........especially the one losing on Weight Watchers...sorry I am a bit prejudice! Bravo dear girl Bravo!!

Take Care

Talking Hello Ladies

Just found out some good news: the insurance claim for my hospital stay which had been disputed is going to be paid! I'm breathing a BIG sigh of relief right now!

Liz: Another busy day! I'll be thinking of you tomorrow (I think you're about 2 hours earlier than us [East Coast], so I'll pray about 9:30

Leenie: Hope your testing went well. Have a nice day off

Cath: Good for you w/lunch and mall walking!

April & Dee: Stay warm!

More good news at the bottom of the page

Hi Ladies,

Joanne, horray for the good news and the weight off your shoulders. Health insurance costs just suck. Ours is going up in 2005 and we have a higher deductable, etc... sigh is right.

Liz, we will be praying for you for tomorrow...deep breaths, relax...thats the key you've got plenty of smarts so don't worry about that

Cin another finger ?? you poor dear. My mom has cadillac's (thats what she calls it, she has an accent and thats how it comes out LOL) after her laser surgery she's like brandy new. GEEE I think you've had enuf this past year lol. But you know, it all worked out in the end and thats worth it all. Remind us please so we can pray for you next week.

Cathy 2 miles!!! you go lady, you go !!!

April.......PLEASE NO SNOW!!! I just can't stand the though of it, not this early. The past few years we've been getting snow in October and then that makes it a hairy winter. I'm Reallyyyyyyy hoping for NONE!!! Stay warm and cozy.

Dee, great post on your weight loss, You really give me hope for myself. Thanks so much. Good luck on finding a coat, check w/them every week or leave your name incase they come across one, then they can call you.

Its almost 3:30. DD has dance tonight so I'm gonna stick her butt in the tub early, like now lol.

Talk to you all later

Hugs
