You lift up your arms in request for a hug, and find yourself happy to be hugged by the sky itself ... the clear blue sky with just a few fluffy white clouds and a truly beautiful strong rainbow filling the whole sky ... as you feel yourself hugged by the sky and the beautiful rainbow you feel each colour of the rainbow sharing the best of itself with you ...
... you feel the bold red sharing its courage and strength of will and you feel it being offered to you ...
...you feel the bright orange colour sharing its inquisitive nature and curiosity and brashness, and you feel it being offered to you ...
...you feel the bright happy yellow offering its optimism and it's unswerving belief that everything will be okay in the end, you feel it being offered to you ...
...you feel the life-colour green band of the rainbow offering to you its life-ness, the knowledge that you are Alive and that to be Alive is wonderful you feel being offered to you ...
... you feel the calm blue offering to you its calm in the face of all things, its sense of peace and its unswerving knowledge that it is okay to wait quietly and to know that everything will be calm and okay again, you feel this being offered to you ...
...you feel the purple offering its regal rich strong sense of self, its ability to hold its own and stay true to its course even when things are difficult ... you feel this being freely offered to you ...
... and as you are hugged for as long as you wish by the rainbow and the sky itself, you feel all these qualities and you realize that the sky and the rainbow are not giving these things to you ... you come to realize, gently, that the rainbow is reflecting these things which are always within yourself, always have been and always will be, and that the rainbow is offering to you the knowledge that whenever you need these qualities you can find them within yourself if you take a deep breath and quietly look inside ...
... and as the hug comes to a gently quiet end, you realize that the sky itself is offering some knowledge to you too ... the knowledge that for you, like for the sky, there may be turbulence and there may be storms but if you simply exist quietly, and wait, that always ... always and forever ... it is true absolutely that if you wait, the sun will come out again ...
You can still sense and almost actually see the rainbow inside you reflecting these qualities within you, that you know they are there too and can be shared with anybody you please without being depleted.
For the rest of the day ... and for a long time to come ... whenever you seek it you are left with a gentle calmness and the absolute knowledge that all of the rainbow qualities are reflected inside yourself, and an utter belief that the sun will come out again ...
