  • SUMMER !! we must have posted at the same time.

Boy that was sucky for your partner to just up and leave, but you know there is no such thing as company loyalty anymore, and people feel since that is so, there's no such thing as employee loyalty either. To bad eh.

Glad things are going well with you and your my rock also !!! A drink sounds good but I don't drink lol, alcohol doesn't agree with the tummy ever since my appendix ruptured years ago, go figure maybe its a good thing ??? lol

    Hugs
  • Hi girls!!!

Same ol' here. No cat. I'm going to be scarce as the weekend comes closer. Tomorrow the kid flys out for the summer to do the grandparental rounds so today we're taking her to see Shrek 2 and to dinner. Then I am going to finish up some loose ends around here, celebrate hubbys birthday, and GO SEE MY FRIENDS!! I need to get away for a while...the depression is biting me in the butt too...and I usually don't get this bad. **sigh** Seems like a domino effect. Time to throw out the dominoes.

    Have a good day everybody!!
  • Hey all...

I have alot going on right now and I am at my wits end and in need of a major break. I am going out of town for a while to re-gather my self and get some much needed R & R. I will pop in when I can but I won't be able to as much as when I am home.

Thanks sooooooooooo much!! I shall return!! Probably in 10 days or so. Have a good weekend everyone.
  • A lazy evening
    Good Evening Ladies-

I am kinda taking the day off. I have been running the stepsons around and doing errands.

My husband actually gave the baby a bath without me having to ask him to. You could have blown me over with a feather. (I will admit it would have to be a big feather but.............. ) He has very rarely done something like that and the baby is now 11 months. I was going to check him for a fever but I didn't want him to stop bathing the baby if he had a raging fever so I let him carry on. Does that make me selfish
I will admit that DH not taking charge with the baby had given me alot of stress.

I am quite impressed at the way y'all offer and give support to each other when someone is down. It seems like everyone is ready to start tomorrow off with a positive slant--good luck.
  • Sheila and Noodles, have a good break and come back refreshed

You know a baby is alot of work, along with the house, cooking and if you work OY!!! so your definitly not alone with the stress. I know when (and its few) my DH gives my DD a bath its like a load off my shouldners, so to answer your question NO NO NO NO NO !!! you are NOT shelfish, your human or is that lol.
