Well today is my 5th anniversary here with the company...whoohoo!! I can't believe I survived this place this long
How was everyone's weekend ?
Mine was nice, took the bambino for shoes on Saturday. Sunday was quiet, it was raw, cold and wet outside so we stayed in and cleaned, played, watched tv..etc.
I'm finally going to cook some Tky bacon and have breakfast..
Congtrats Leens! Way to hang in there! It certainly doesn't sound like you enjoy your work either so that makes it that much more of an accomplishment!
I keep hearing you mention this turkey bacon....I had a look for some the other day when I got groceries......I couldn't bring myself to buy it....I didn't bye the real stuff either!
My kids are starting to eat me out of house and home....they ate a whole bag of cheese strings, a whole box of Xmas oranges and a big jug of OJ!
Well yesterday I got together with my girlfriend and we went out for a nice supper.......4 hours...lots of chatting a few drinks and too much coffee......I was up until after 1 am.....anyway who cares I am off for at least three glorious days....I am off to the doctors with my father this afternoon...he finds out if his cancer treatments worked.
Dr. Phil was excellent on Thursday or Friday.....I taped it and watched it on Saturday before I went to work and I bawled for an hour....it really triggered a lot of feelings. He is doing a weight show today....and update.....some of those weight loss contestants have really funny personality's........in the preview Dr. Phil asked one guy what size he was and he said 2..........."Too damn big" I could relate~!
Well I will check in later and say hello....it is a fresh fall morning........lots of frost on the grass!
Good morning. I am caring around a few extra punds of water today and to top it off I have a head cold. I took some of my moms liquid vit C though so hopefully I will knock it out.
I did have a fun weekend though. I had a frioend over Saturday night that I grew up with so that was fun to see her. I worked in the flower beds at the front of our subdivision on Sunday and then we headed to the in-laws for a b-day dinner. It was acutally a healthy one. Even the pie was healthy. Can you believe that?

Lynnie- WOW ON THE WEIGHTLOSS! you are doing great! you just slid right past that 300 mark and are going down down down! I'm so proud of you!
Liz - I hope and pray all goes with with your dad at the doc's this afternoon. I can sure relate to your kids eating you out of house and home! I set my vcr to tape Dr Phil this morning. I don't want to miss any of the weight loss shows. :-)
I'm gonna stay in during lunch today, and then run get a flu shot at 1:00. I've never had the flu and I would like to keep it that way.
It's beautiful here today - 55 cool and very little humidity! the weather man said there is not a cloud in the sky from Texas to Florida and I think I believe him - the sky is blue blue blue! :-) I love it!

Liz... if you buy it, get Louis Rich, and fry it crispy, I'm telling you, it is really good !! you won't believe it. I've found other brands to be icky and not so flavorful. I am hooked on it. Its meaty and not greasy like regular bacon (which I also love lol )
Cathy I got my flu shot today too, we get them for free because we make the product... Have you heard about the Flu Mist ? Its where you inhale it instead of an injection. They offered it to us but I'm afraid of new products so I went w/the injection (which this is the first year I'm getting the shot ROFL ) CHICKEN YES!!!!! BAK BAK BAK

Ok leens, you drug it out of me. I don't think it is 100% healthy but the pie was made with FF condensed milk. My MIL made a Lemon mirange(sp) pie and it was awesome. I am sure there was lots of sugar but hey you got to cut back somewhere.
Leenie.....I got my flu shot on Saturday....it is free for me....I have asthma....otherwise it is $15..Canadian.
I did use my light box when I first got up....was up early...about 6:40 A.M.....DH & I went for coffee with friends at 8 A.M.....it is hard getting up that early.....but it is good for me to see other people....I don't work anymore....it would be too easy to hybernate...lol.
I was feeling down on Saturday evening....last winter....the cousellor I went to said that will happen....everone feels down at times....but I felt good yesterday & feel fine today.
About turkey bacon.....have never seen it here before....in Canada we don't have all the things you have in the U.S.....we don't have Louis Rich here in Canada.
It's pouring rain here today....again. Well today I am going to make applesauce....the other day I bought apples that were on sale.....will freeze some of it.

Good afternoon Ladies. I see everyone is doing well today. I am hanging in here...waiting for 5:30 so I can go home. Only an hour left. I am so bored. I dislike being here! This job sucks...
Well I had a pretty good weekend. I found myself not eating much, like last night for dinner I had 1/2 a bagel with CC and a fruit cup. I just wasn't really hungry. Today is a different story. TOM is here, and I was craving sweets. And I was bored...So that equals trouble. Now I feel extremely full, and probably won't eat dinner. I hate it when I do this, but I don't let it get me down. Just pick up and move on.
I think I am going to stop by Target on the way home tonight and pick up an exercise tape that uses the resistance bands. My coworker said she saw some there, and we live in the same town, so hopefully I can find them too. I have been working on cleaning out my room (and getting my DD to live in her own room) so that I can exercise and use my Gazelle. My DD slept in her own room last night, I got a lot of her things moved out of my room. We were sharing a room, but now I don't have to go thru that anymore! Finally I can move my stuff back in and start some exercise routine. I have decided that I want to do some cardio, use the resistance bands, and do some crunches. I am not going to stay stuck on the scale, just going to judge things by the way I feel and look.
Anyway, sorry so long, I just wanted to share!
