Default A natural chewing gum for sugar cravings?

Hi all,

I’m working on a natural chewing gum designed to help reduce sugar cravings—something simple, effective, and supportive for those on a weight loss journey.

Here’s what makes it special:
  • Gymnema sylvestre: A plant known as the “sugar destroyer” for its ability to block sweet cravings.
  • Chromium: Helps balance blood sugar levels and reduce the urge to snack.
  • Xylitol: A natural, low-calorie sweetener that’s also good for your teeth.
I’d love your input to make this the best it can be:
  • Would you be interested in trying it?
  • What flavors would you enjoy most? (Refreshing mint, zesty citrus, or something else?)
  • How important is it to you that it’s 100% natural?
This idea is still in the early stages, so your feedback is incredibly valuable. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments or send me a message.

Thank you so much for helping me create something that could really make a difference!

Next week I'm going to try and cut back on the gum just a little. I'm just coming to the end of day 11 no chocolate/added sugar/UPF right now. Just trying to take it day by day....

Your idea sounds great — a natural gum targeting sugar cravings could definitely appeal to people focused on weight management or reducing sugar intake. Personally, I’d be interested in trying it, especially because Gymnema sylvestre and chromium are functional ingredients with real potential benefits, and xylitol is already a well-liked natural sweetener.

For flavors, I think refreshing mint would be a must-have for freshness and broad appeal, but adding zesty citrus or even something a bit more unique like cinnamon or berry might help cater to different preferences and prevent “flavor fatigue” if someone uses it regularly.

For me, having it be 100% natural is important — especially since you’re positioning it as a health-conscious product — but it would be even better if it’s also non-GMO, vegan, and free from artificial colors or preservatives.

One extra thought: you might want to consider whether the actives (Gymnema, chromium) maintain their effectiveness in gum form and how long they stay stable after manufacturing — that could be a key selling point if validated.

Would you like me to also give you a short, catchy reply you could post directly in that forum thread? That might help you encourage more engagement.
