New Medication
Hello, everyone. I'm new to the forums. My psychiatrist added Lamictal 25mg, on top of Wellbutrin XL 450 mgs, and Haloperidol (upped dosage to 5mgs). My doc knows how concerned I am about the weight gained on previous medications, so she added the Lamictal. Has anyone lost weight on Lamictal? I am 4'11" and down to 164 from 185 since starting Haloperidol. My meds are for schizophrenia, bipolar, and depression. I was on 1mg of haloperidol and Wellbutrin was supposed to level off any side effects. I still had bad mood swings. The wellbutrin needed a friend so I was given lamictal. Any insight to weight gain/loss would be greatly appreciated.
