I've been on buproprion for about 20 days. I'm on my first period since I started taking them, but it's considerably lighter than it was before. As a matter a fact, it's so light that I can't tell if I'm spotting or if it's a legitimate period.

Has anyone else been on an antidepressant that affected your period? Made it lighter, heavier, or go away? I will be seeing a doctor this week and will talk to them about it.

Yes! Buproprion totally changed my period. Made it lighter and shorter and I had breakthru bleeding. It did go back to pretty much normal after a few months.
