It's late or early, depending on how you look at it. I have been very lax in posting and I apologize...I'd promised Linnie and Meg I would post "tomorrow" but tomorrow always came and went w/o me doing it....but here I am....finally.

Tippy I am sorry I have not gotten back to you about the site for Big Rich but I can't remember where I stashed it. I think Ruthie may still have it as I lost it one other time and had to ask her.

Linda where were you tonite?? I found Goldorak in Yahoo and we chatted for a while. She will be trying to get back to chat soon. She made her goal in Weight Watchers...with a loss of 28.8 lbs.

I almost have my living room done...had a friend help me today which sure made a difference. Now I lack all the base boards and 4 windows...the worst part. Don't know how well I will do standing on my head so may have to get someone to finish for me.

I am back to eating better.....AGAIN. I've quit the cokes and went to Pepsi One which I like considering it is a diet pop. I don't drink much of it. I am trying to get my veggies in and cut back on carbs more.

I worked with a little girl tonite..she is in kindergarten and weighs 65 lbs. I had her get on the floor and showed her some exercises which she found neat. HA...wait til she gets older and she will detest that. She is as cute as a button but her weight is going to cause her problems in the future especially with other kids..you know how cruel they can be. My heart goes out to her.

Geeze...Chris has woke up and turned on some swanky music. Guess I will go put a pillow over my head and go to sleep. I think he does this to get me to go to bed. lol

Did you happen to read the last post in the poll regarding the chatroom? Amazing that someone would refer a chatter to another diet site, isn't it! I feel bad about the little girl you're working with too. I was an overweight child and I remember well what other kids said.

Have yall noticed that the chatroom is gone?

I posted late last night on the Wednesday thread, but basically, I ran to get on the puter and get into the chatroom and catch the nite time crowd, and there is no chatroom right now! rats!!!
So typical, I finally get a minute at nite to chat and not only is there no one chatting, but the chatroom is completely gone. I read something in the announcements that explains what is going on but darn!

Well it is absolutely beautiful here in Louisiana today! and I am soooooo glad! I hope the sun shines for a month and dries up this wet place!

Tip, I am afraid I no longer have Big Rich's site. For once I did a cleanup, I guess. I have CSK and MAd MAx and tons of others but no Big Rich.

Sounds to me like you and that Roger person have that kitchen in great shape.

By the way, MamaJ's breast reduction surgery had some problems. She is checking in periodically but does not sound too spry.

Nice as always to see you Sweetpea, we are not mad at you for not posting, we are just happy to hear from you now. There are some days I can only pop in and say hi.

I have a great neice who is not even in kindergarten and she weighs 50 lbs. She's chunky (but oh so cute). My sister is not making it a big issue about her weight TO her because at 4 1/2 years old we don't believe that her weight should be an issue to her and we don't want her to be ashamed of herself. She just trys to get her to play more and eat better without bringing it to her attention.

This is from MY own experience as a fat kid. When your told you have to exercise or diet as a child, you really don't understand why, you just feel like you are being punished in one way or another. I remember eating a dry *** hamburger and dry veggies as a kid and my siblings eating burgers on bread w/mayo...etc.... All I could think of was I was not a good person for this to be happening to, why am I different. If my little one is heavy, there is no way I would make her aware of it. I will teach her to eat healthy and that playing outside is more fun than the TV. God Willing !

APPLE PIE !!! Tippy I am making one tonight for my neighbors who are moving away soon. They gave me sooooo many outdoor activity sets for Grace and I would like to do something a little nice for them. I really wouldn't know what else to do. Maybe after they eat the pie they will be glad they are leaving haaaaaaaaaaaaa !! You are always welcome to my home.

Yes I am here.. awake and well rested after an excellent night's sleep. Sweet, I was asleep by 8pm my time last night, so sorry I didn't make it to chat. I am finding that at least once during the week I need to get to bed really early. I guess I am getting old.. no smart a** comments from the peanut gallery either!!

Leens, I am here. Just sitting here enjoying my mocha! and it is raining!!! It hasn't rained here in more than six months, so everyone is very happy.

About referring people to Dottis. yes I have seen others mention it in that poll.... like it is a bad thing. When I am in the chat room and someone comes in asking questons about Weight Watchers and NO ONE in the room is on the plan, yes I send them to Dotti's. That chat room always seems to have WW people in it. I know nothing about the plan so I cannot be of any help. We that are in the chat room are not experts on every single diet and it seems people get upset when we cannot answer their questions. I thought referring people was the caring thing to do.. so sue me

By the way, I had so much fun busting Sweet and Jaymee's chops the other nite. I teased them that I was in the chat room and what was wrong with them for not being able to find it.... hehehehe Cathy, you are lucky I didn't find you.. I would have had some fun.

Ruthieboobs.. miss talking to you. Hope you are enjoying the snow. I personally am annoyed that today I had to switch from sandels to shoes... but I still can be in short sleeves and no coat.

Hi sweet nice to meat you. I am kind of new so I hi! I is another beautiful day here in southern Louisiana. This makes it all worth living here. Of course on days like today I would rather be at home working in the yard. Oh well I guess I can get some work done today but I am going to do it kicking and screaming!

Leens you are correct in not putting the child on a "diet". I sat the mother down w/o the child around and talked to her about healthy foods and snacks and how not to make it an issue. I got the child to do the exercises last night after she stood here complaining that her waistband was so tight on her pants. I remember being an overweight child and feeling excluded because of my weight. I learned early in life how society frowns on fat people...you'd have thought I'd be skinny since I've had 40 years to perfect this body.

Tip I will continue looking for the site, it may be on the other computer come to think of it. I sent an email to his wife at one time so maybe I will find her addy and you can ask her about it.

Linda you owe me an hours chat...can't believe you went to bed so early. Come clean...what was HIS name????

Sweet...about the painting Actually, I started last June!!! The walls are all done...but I have 3000 square feet of woodwork to take from dark walnut to cream...this is no easy task Especially for me since I am so easily side tracked (you know, things like this stupid computer and shopping, let's not forget shopping) So when you come to Boston, I suggest you high tale it over here and help me!!!

Good choice baking an apple pie Leens, I am going to a party Saturday night and my girlfriend asked me to make Italian cookies. Those little things are so easy to put in your mouth when no one is looking OMG....this has been torture, but I did not eat one of the 6 batches I made. Now Saturday night might be a different story!!!!
