WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: My biggest problem is starting. I feel as though if I had the right tools (Which isn't working very well right now) , and support, then I'd be able to keep up with it. It's just really tough knowing what to do, and getting a plan going. Right now, money is an issue, but I need to get around that.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: This isn't just because I want to look better, or I want to wear prettier clothes. While I want those things, so, so so much, this is not just for that. This is for my health. I look in the mirror, and I reflect on how I feel, and I am not healthy. I want to grow old, with my boyfriend, and future husband, and live long, healthy lives with him and our future children. I can't let my weight hold me back anymore. And I won't let it shorten my life. This has to be the day I change my mind, and ways.

I don't have that wonderful, or much of a social life at all, so I'd love to make some friends on here. All of you ladies seem so nice, and I look forward to talking to all of you.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM IN WEIGHT LOSS: Motivation/Depression
WHAT IS DIFFERENT THIS TIME THAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL: I can visualize my goal and this time I KNOW that I can accomplish it.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
Hello all! I've been using 3FC for a few months and I cruise the 20 somethings most of the time. I started my weight loss with lots of determination but a month into my changes depression started creeping up on me. I've been serious about exercise and eating right for almost 5 months now with just a few pounds lost- which I am very grateful for. Unfortunately our scale we used to have was off by 5 or 6lbs and my doctor and I concluded that my start weight must have been about 133-135lbs, and here I was thinking it was 127 or 128lbs. But that's okay because I'm not going to give up. Some days are harder than others to get out of bed let alone workout for an hour, and it's tough to get back on track after a few of those days. But I'm not going to let those days ruin my goal, I'm going to succeed this time
Thought I'd better put this here in case I start posting - depression appears to be creeping up on me after nearly 2 years with little/no real symptoms.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
I've always been overweight, mostly due to the fact that my parents worked in a mall and I would go there every day after school and they would always give my sister and I money to get food. They didn't suggest healthy things, and at age 8, nothing is more appealing than fries and a cheeseburger. That combined with my parents both often turning to fast food for meals because they were too busy has ultimately affected the way I see food and while I'm not blaming them, I think it would be different now if that weren't the way I grew up!
Depression set in when I was around 16, although I didn't take it seriously (ie get help) until I was 19. Did therapy with both a therapist and a psychiatrist. Went on anti-depressants for 18 months. Radically improved. Learnt coping mechanisms. Now facing some of the same symptoms but I want to sort this out before it requires more meds or expensive professionals!
