tkglenn, Yay! congrats on your pound! :carrot: Home cooked meals were exactly my worry. I am out of town at my friends house tonight but will be at my mom's tomorrow. I did ok with eating today. We had Japanese tonight but I had the steamed rice, ate lightly and skipped some sauces. I also did a Biggest Loser workout tonight after she went to bed. I'm doing what I can. I should have brought my weights though because I had to use 2 cans of pork & beans instead.

Purefire, you probably are still just drained from being sick. I'm sure some energy will come back when you have been well a couple of days. Take care.

Gotta get in bed.

momof4under5 06-17-2010 02:37 PM

purefire I hear ya
I have been sick since monday and now I am just tired of it! My house is a mess...house work is getting behind...i have school stuff thats GOT to be finished and all I wanna do is sleep. I have been getting dizzy alot today...Guess I need to start pumping vitamins and get some good food in me!

I watched super nanny and she really brought out a good point I am a stay at home mom and I am with the kids but they dont get quality time with me...hmm...another thing for me to work on!

I want this to change so I need to do somethings differently. I am almost willing to start drinking coffee in the morning if that will jump start me (i hate coffee) Getting up early is my hardest thing..I hate getting up early!!!! Alot of my problems would be solved if I did that!! A few extra hours to get stuff done would be great!

My dh works all day and doesnt need to come home to clean or do laundry...he does do dishes but sometimes thats pushing it time wise...I dont move around here as fast as I could...while he is working his butt off for 9 hours plus every day...shame on me...SO I am working towards getting more done and being more consistant!!
I dont wake the kids up they wake me up....I want to be the mom that gets their kids up and starts there day good not me being aggitated cause i gotta get up and then just grumpy!! Guess I need to when the alarm goes off go straight for the shower and then try some coffe with LOTS of MILK and SUGAR...LOL maybe my body will adjust!!

Thanks for listening!! Lata girls!

momof4under5 06-17-2010 10:11 PM

Well I managed to get stuff done with school today hopefully tomorrow I can be almost finished with them. I also was able to clean the kitchen some. I pulled out the stove wiped it all down and under the hood...lol, cleaned under it the same with the fridge...and the washer and dryer....then scrubbed under all of them and all the kitchen. Cleaned off all the counter did the dishes then all my dh had left was what we used for dinner. It was nice for him to come home and lay on the couch and relax till dinner. I had dinner all ready and then he did the clean up...It felt good that I got something accomplished and he didnt have to come home from being on his feet all day and go straight to cooking...Just have to push past the sickness and stuff.
Have a good night
OH i signed my kids up for free bowling...anyone interested you might have a site near you go to kidsbowlfree.com and check it out!!!

momof4under5 06-18-2010 12:42 PM

See everytime I come back to posting here regularly everyone else stops showing up then I just say forget it and dont come back for like a month or two....Kinda sucks posting to myself...LOL! I talk to myself already...hahahaha!

I wish I could figure out if my lack of energy or motivation to do anything is just from being sick or if its going to be a problem. I want to do lots of things with my kids and keep them busy instead of being a boring mom...but I make all the plans at night (im a night person) When morning comes I am like PHUH FORGET THAT...lol OK well since im talking to myself Im gonna stop there...LOL

Aunty Jam 06-18-2010 04:47 PM

Hi everyone! It was nice to read all of your updates... I'm doing pretty good but we're worried about my Grandma, she's 98 and starting to have more issues. We're currently trying to convince her that she should move out of her house. She's still an amazing lady but it's too much for her and we think she's starting to get confused. I really hate that I more or less take after the other side of the family :( It would be nice to be almost 100, living in my own house and doing crossword puzzles.

momof4under5 06-18-2010 05:19 PM

AUNTY- WOW...thats awesome she is 98 and still on her own..I know from dealing with my gram its hard to get them out of their house. My gram kinda started enjoying being around family once she moved in with my mom. Hope everything works out for your faimly!

momof4under5 06-18-2010 10:58 PM

Look its me posting again!!! Glad 1 other person posted...i must scare everyone away!! Guess I need to find another bored...lol see if i can scare them away..hahahaha

Amarie2pt0 06-19-2010 09:02 AM

mof4 - enough of that! you don't scare us! We love you  Please keep posting, and I'll respond when I can. I noticed that this board isnt as busy as it used to be. Maybe you can supplement with a second board?

I have been traveling a bit this week and have had spotty internet. Sorry about not showing much.

y'all would be so proud of me! Yesterday I went for a real honest to goodness hike (the kind thats up a mountain!) It hurt like the dickens, but sure was beautiful.

My weight is a bit down, but I kinda want to wait until I get back to Oregon before changing my stats - you know, foreign scales and all that.

Well, short post from me this morning. Talk at you all later!

momof4under5 06-19-2010 11:16 AM

It happens every time I come back...Like its REALLY busy so I am like Ill get back into it..and then everyone RUNS and hides....LOL

Amarie-Im sure it hurt...I did a hike last summer up the mountain its called a thousand steps (but its more than that). Its the whole way to the top of a mountain. I trailed at the end because I had a youth that was injured trying to do the hike....it hurt but it was good

I just ordered on of those heart monitor watches. My friend has been using hers to track the burnt calories so I cant wait to use it!! OK lata!!

Amarie2pt0 06-19-2010 09:32 PM

Hi all!

mof4 - ooh! I've always thought about getting one of those watches, but never have. Let me know how you like it?

Today I went to the store and got a couple new workout shirts - the moisture wicking kind. They are nice and lightweight, but boy it was hard to find some that had real short sleeves, instead of those cap sleeves that they seem to want to put on everything.

How's everyone doing?

momof4under5 06-21-2010 01:59 AM

OH LOOK ITS ME AGAIN venting to myself...LOL

So I tried to make it a good day for my dh...Was up till 5 am making him a video then slept two hours and got up and got kids ready for church then went to the store and got stuff for dinner came back and dropped the stuff off and put the ham in the oven. Went to church taught kids church. Came home cooked dinner did dishes why I cooked mixed the cake up, put it in after the ham came out, took a lil nap then went to parents swimming...It was nice but dh son that lives with his mom had to be a jerk. Its been a strained relationship because his mom has a low mentality level (tested) and is not nice to jeff. Lately I planned for the boy to go on a youth trip with us. I planned for him to come visit, i made the transportation arrangements, I took him home, he was to come this weekend but dh had to work late cause one of his managers got injured. so I asked boys mom to drive 15 mins from house to meet dh and she said she had to work so I said what about thurs she said IM sick...I said well so am I...so I said y dont I plan to get him monday...wouldnt work she said wed. to sun. so I try to get times...well I posted the video I made for my dh and his son left a comment about how can he be a good father when he dont want to see his own son. I deleted it and messaged him that it has nothing to do with him not wanting to see him it is the 4 hour drive (trip to get him, go home, take him back, then back home) he then told me I was a wack head and stupid. He is 16. His mom later messged me and said it is brandon who writes his messages i check them going out and coming in like a mom should...Then he sent his dad a message and said his step dad was a better dad. So he had to try and ruin the day. But I have been the one trying to make it work and he has to be rude and disrespectful to me?? I told her its ok for kids to say their feelings but being disrespectful is wrong. NOW my dh is done and I am not going to keep being treated that way..so now what??
Oh well...I guess everyone must be busy..I know some of you are outta town...but its like EMPTY in here or maybe everyone is walking past the glass door and sees its just me in here alone and they keep walking...LOL No im not a creative person...LOL

momof4under5 06-21-2010 10:12 AM

Good Morning me...lol...ok well I guess theres no point writing on here...hope everyone has a good week!!

HoneyMustard 06-21-2010 01:30 PM

Hello All and MOMOF4! I've been lurking in here for a while and decided to post here.
Just wanted to say that last week was really hard for me motivation wise and be-grudgingly did my exercises. I think I just need some one to talk to. I'm too inward, which isn't good.
So can I post here too? I feel bad that momof4 has to talk to herself!

Aunty Jam 06-21-2010 04:52 PM

Hi Mom - that was a horrible thing that kid did, sounds like he's confused and angry. Typical kid stuff it's just too bad he has to involve you in it... his mom should get him a professional to talk to.

It's finally summer and that means Canadians are outside taking advantage of the weather before returning to winters nasty freeze. It's a short season for us so we cram as much into it as we can. Hubby and I spent most of the weekend working outside, on the house, garden and yard. He called me at work a little while ago to tell me he was working in the garage and seems to have broken his nose... I don't have the whole story yet but I'm sure it's interesting. Other then being outside I've been busy with family and trying to stay active... Grandma seems to think the home isn't a bad place actually so we're planning a trip down there to see her. There is almost no internet out there so I likely won't be around when we go. I've been to see my parents a few times (both disabled, I help to care for them). And once in a while I try to take my poor neglected puppies for a walk. It kills me to see how bored my BC cross is but there's not much I can do about that right now.

VermontMom 06-21-2010 09:42 PM

Hello and welcome to Sarah, of course you can post here! :)

momof4, sorry that there were a couple days when none of us were around...my situation is exactly as Aunty Jam's is, we have such short summers we have to cram alot in a short time :D That was really crummy that the kid said such rude and disrespectful things, especially on a day that you really excelled on doing things for others!

hello to everyone else  I'll try to say hi again soon, but we are going on a 3 day bike rally this Fri/Sat/Sun. and I'm trying like heck at work to bake 3 days worth of desserts ahead of time. Plus all the packing and such for 3 days of riding to a primitive camp ground :dizzy:

OH a special recognition that we had summer solstice today, holy cow like 15 hours of sun-up!! OH JOY  I would not sink into horrible months of depression if I could have that much sun every day!!

hope4me 06-21-2010 10:55 PM

Momof4, I'm back, I'm back, don't leave again now! I've spent a few days on here talking to myself too. Vermont and I had a week alone here once I think. I was at my mom's without internet service. Sorry that kid was being such a jerk. It comes with the age unfortunately, not that that is an excuse. He will realize what all you did for him when he's a little older.

Sarah, :welcome2: Great job on working out when you really didn't feel like it. That's the hardest time to follow through. Good job. Look foward to getting to know you.

Vermont, hope you have a great time this weekend. Can you fit all those desserts on the bike? I can picture you going down the road carrying all of them on a tray like a waitress.

Aunty Jam, How is hubby's nose? Sounds like you have a really full plate right now. When are you going to see your Grandma?

Amarie, new close are always nice. Sounds like you did well while you were away. I think I did ok as well. Great job on the hike. I have a friend who hikes now and then and kinda wanted to go myself. I still have a fear that I can't do it.

I have to say it's nice to be home. I had a great time but I'm worn out. We spent a lot of time in the garden picking beans, stringing, and freezing them. I also mowed the yard, I think it's an acre at least with a push mower. We did a lot of cooking and cleaning. I'll be sleeping it off tomorrow I'm sure. ;)

buddly 06-21-2010 11:42 PM

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around much.
Things have been rather busy. I seem to spend a lot of time in my van as a taxi driver.
On the 11th was my daughter's high school graduation ceremony. It was really nice. I never thought I would see the day they were all done.
Work has been yucky as we are short staffed and half the staff we do have are all trainees. So its been challenging.
Today after work I took my youngest to the school so she could go into the woodworking room to finish her table. Thankfully I was helping her as she ended up fainting and having little convulsions of some sort. She ended up with terrible stomach pains and vomiting. She feels a lot better after a nap. I'll be keeping a close eye on her. It sure was scary. I'm sure her teacher was glad I was there as there were just the three of us in the room, so I was able to stay with her while he ran around opening doors, getting cold cloths and her jacket for her head.
Anyway the rest of this week is just as busy.
We did get to spend time out in the garden on Saturday. I ended up with a good burn on my back. Typical Canadian weather, one extreme or the other.

Momof4 keep posting!! Sorry about the troubles with your dh's son. The situation does sound like a challenge. It sounds like he's a little insecure as well. How are you doing without the welbutrin? You sure got a lot done on Sunday.

Hope, enjoy your trip and visit with your mom. I'm thankful my mom and sister moved to our town and I can finally see them again, we went a lot of years with just phone calls. My mom and sister just joined curves and my mom is actually going. Her health had really deteriorated since she quit working two yrs ago. So we are hoping this will help build her back up.

Vermont sounds like you have a really good weekend planned. Got to love the long days especially when they come with sunshine.

aunty jam I'm curious as to how your hubby broke his nose, sounds like quite the feat. Hope you aren't getting caught in all the rain and flooding.

Sarah, welcome and I look forward to getting to know you better.

amarie congrats on the hike! And the weight loss.

purefire I hope your friend is doing alright.

Tkglenn congrats on your loss as well.

I better get going here.
A big Hello to everyone else!!!

Take care all,
K

momof4under5 06-22-2010 12:09 AM

Ya :carrot:Ya:spin: Ya :cp:Ya :cb:Ya :hat:Ya:dance: Ya :dancer:Ya:hyper: YA :cheer3:YA:woohoo: YA :cheer2:YA :broc:YA:yay: YA :celebrate:YA

EVERYONE CAME BACK!!!!!

Welcome to sarah!!! You shoulda posted earlier!!

I knew alot of people were away and was hoping everyone would come back soon but sometimes that doesnt happen!

So it was a good day today started off with a massive headache...but it better now. Went swimming at my moms...gonna try and crash early...have a meeting tomorrow not sure what time...LOL

OK chat with everyone lata!!

Aunty Jam 06-22-2010 12:30 AM

LoL - There's a lot of activity here now! I don't really have much to add to my earlier post... just that hubby was building a counter top and had one sheet of stuff secure in place then left the garage for something, returned and wasn't watching where he was going and BAM! Walked right into it. We don't think it's broken, just cracked and possibly a mildly concussed brain. He won't go to the doctor... typical boy.

Buddly - Thanks for thinking of us but we're a fair distance north of the flooding. We had some interesting thunder storms today and a few funnel clouds reported at the airport just south of the city but nothing here.

Vermont - I too LOVE the longest day of the year. I wish I was a druid so I could celebrate at Stonehenge. I meant to add to the story you posted earlier about the friend and her arm exercises... it's obvious to me she noticed how buff you're getting and felt insecure. So of course she had to compensate for this and start talking about her wonderful arms. You were stealing her thunder without even trying. You rock!

Hope - we don't know exactly when yet... My sister, Mom and I will be going to see her so it depends on when we can all get free time. Either mid-late july or 2nd-3rd week of August. My Dad unfortunately isn't well enough to go, it sucks too because it's his Mom and it's the area he grew up :(

HoneyMustard 06-22-2010 12:57 PM

Good Morning All! And thanks for the warm welcome!

Momof4, you really made me lol when I saw your post! Looks like a peanuts cartoon party!

I'm a little overwhelmed by you all, and don't really know what to say but hello and thanks. I'll gladly answer questions about myself if you have any.

Today's goal- clean my bathroom!

Have a great day everyone!

Okay now that is how you really say YAY!   that was very cute, momof4! :D Hey, so are you totally off Wellbutrin? and you feel okay? I am so chicken to even think of weaning myself off. I don't have any side effects, but the thought of being on it for the rest of my life..well I don't know. I congratulate you for the courage to try it! and glad your headache went away (or is better)

buddly! Hi! :wave and OMgosh that sounds terrible awful and scary about your daughter!! I HOPE she is all better and that never happens again! and I congratulate your mom in joining Curves, that is great.

Sarah, gosh we didn't mean to overwhelm you :D You can just read and get to know us first :) did you clean your bathroom, as was your goal?

AuntyJam - yikes about husband's nose!! even 'just' cracked and a concussion sounds scary. Do you know what to look for, regarding the concussion, for a definite doctor visit? and THANKS for the insight about the arms comment!

hope, glad you had a nice visit! and you sure worked while you were there! (yes, I remember the week of the Hamster and the Motorcycle here )

Hi amarie, purefire, and tkglenn :)

momof4under5 06-23-2010 12:16 AM

vermont-Yes I have been off my welbutrin for over a month. I was forgetting to take it and when I would remember it would make me MEAN and nasty!! A while ago I went to the dr cause i felt like it wasnt working he upped it and i was ok...but when I started acting awful with it I just stopped it completely because I hated who I was when I took it. I didnt have a lot of withdrawl sympotoms...some stomach craps, sleepiness, and a lil dizzy but nothing awful. I for real feel SOOO much better. I am able to be happy...like I can actually just smile for no reason...LOL i dont know if that makes sense or not! I was on it right after my last baby from bursting into tears constantly. Well I think over the last 2 and half years my brain balanced itself out so I think thats y the meds cause the irritable and all that....I wish you the best on whatever you decide!!

Sarah-my boy did "his" bathroom yesterday cause it was AWFUL...lol each kid has lik their own bathroom to clean now I do a deep cleaning bout twice a month!! He did a good job on it too for only being 5..he wiped everything down, fixed the rug and picked up stuff off the floor!! I know CHILD SLAVE!! I just believe in teaching them how to help take care of the house as a family!!! I have too many kids to be their maid!! lol

aunty j-THAT IS AWFUL!!! Hope he is ok....and yes there is TONS of activity now!!

buddly-I tend to do the taxi driving every time we have a youth service...LOL...My mom had to pick me up and then like four other kids for one of our outtings and she is like WOW I feel like a taxi service I was like um I do this every wed!!! LOL

Well had an ok day!! chat with everyone lata!!

HoneyMustard 06-23-2010 01:14 PM

Good Morning Everyone!

Just wanted to check in. The goal I made yesterday was a waaaay obtainable goal, I didn't finish. But I got the worst part over, the floor and the whole cat box area needed a good scrubbing, and changed out the box and litter. Hopefully today or tomorrow I can get the toilet, sink, shower, mirrors, and whatever else needs cleaned, cleaned. I wish I had a maid service come in and do this kind of thing for me. It's just me cleaning this 3000 sq ft place all by myself.
UGH! Today is walking day. I try to walk M-W-F. The trick is to be consistent, right?

That's all for now! Hope everyone has a great day!

HoneyMustard 06-23-2010 03:49 PM

Me again! Feeling real anxious right now.

My 8 year old neice has been trying to call me most of the morning to play Pixie Hollow online. Im so conflicted! I really dont want to play today, but I feel bad that I had told her yesterday that she could call me. She's called at least 5 times in the last 2 hours.

I did get on the treadmill and walked my hour, so at least that is an accomplishment! Now, if I can get myself out the door to the store.

hope4me 06-24-2010 12:05 AM

Sarah, congrats on the workout and yes, consistency IS what's important. Did you make it to the store?

Buddly, how is your daughter doing. That must have been really scary.

Vermont, are you ready for your trip? It is this weekend right?

Aunty Jam, too bad that your dad is too ill to travel. I'm sure he would love to go with you. That's unfortunate.

Mom, So glad you are teaching your kids to clean, particularly the boys. So many times the males learn to do nothing around the house and eventually become some poor woman's nightmare!

I've been really tired still since getting back. I have kept up on my workouts though and today was my first day back to work. Next week is our final weigh in for the Biggest Loser at work. I've gotta stay on track till then. I just hope I don't slip some when it's over. I brought back a lot of fresh garden veggies with me and I've been cooking those. It's been nice. I really miss a big garden, or a small one for that matter.

Catch y'all tomorrow.

HoneyMustard 06-24-2010 03:58 PM

Hi All!

Yes, I made it to the store! I feel so stupid sometimes admitting that this is a real accomplishment. But yes, I had a 1 point chocolate brownie on the mind, not to mention that I was using the store as an excuse not to talk to my niece so it really wasn't a lie.....

And because I seem so unmotivated to do much of anything, I thought that if I get on my treadmill today, at least I did something! I walked for 4 miles instead of 3!

I haven't gotten back to that bathroom yet. UGH!

Hope everyone is doing well today!

VermontMom 06-24-2010 07:06 PM

good evening everyone :)

Sarah, wow 4 miles is a lot of walking! :tread:

hope, yes it is this weekend that we go on our trip; we leave tomorrow morning early! I am almost done packing :D I always wait til the last minute. We have friends who have RV's and cook so we chip in some $ and they feed us, so we don't have the hassle of bringing food. We have switched from bringing a tent, to bringing our big canopy that has sides. I like having all the standing up space. and of course air mattresses and sleeping bags and pillows that have extra fabric softener/fresh scent!

I also hope everyone is doing well today!

momof4under5 06-25-2010 12:32 AM

sarah-walking on the treadmill is HUGE...that is awesome you walked 4 miles! Going to the store is good cause sometimes we just need to get out and get the fresh air and blood moving...LOL For your bathroom...tomorrow when you go to the bathroom after you wash your hands wipe the sink all down...then you are closer to being done!! lol
vermont- have fun on your trip!!!

I got two free tickets to creation festival (a huge christian festival with tons of bands and speakers!!) My dh has to work so I am going and taking the kids...lets hope I didnt make a mistake...gonna have to have my husband help me before I go and practice setting the tent up!! lol

Amarie2pt0 06-25-2010 08:38 AM

hi all!

Just stopping in to say a quick Hi. I've been camping for a couple days - it was funfunfunfun.

Hope everyone has a marvelous weekend!

HoneyMustard 06-25-2010 02:11 PM

Oh, I would loooove to go camping!! The closest I got to camping was staying overnight at a festival. At least I was in my own tent, and I took a small mattress with me too. Slept like a baby!

momof4 & vermont- have a blast. I'm so jealous!

Any hoo, another quite day around here. DH at work, cat is sleeping, and no calls from my niece, yet. So quiet! Maybe I really will get that bathroom done today......

I just noticed that we are all short people!

Have a great day y'all!

momof4under5 06-25-2010 04:24 PM

Just checked and my numbers are up on the scale so guess I need to work on that before next weighin date...LOL...which it will be two weeks till I weigh in since I will be away this next week...MY DOWNFALL is not drinking enough water!! It blows my mind that the more you drink the less you retain (atleast it seems...LOL) I still need to excercise more but I atleast WEEKLY have done some excercise!! We will get to daily. I REALLY REALLY hope my heart monitor watch comes before I go to the festival cause I will be doing ALOT of walking...you have to walk from your camp site to the music!!!

Sarah-GOOD luck on your bathroom...LOL

HoneyMustard 06-25-2010 06:38 PM

So many excuses I have made to NOT finish the bathroom, I'm starting to really get angry at myself. That always seems to be my downfall. I'm not good at setting goals for myself and seeing them through. I like to just do things on the spur of the moment. No time to think about it, just do it. Now the plan is to just forget about the bathroom for now, I'll get fed up with it sooner or later!

My niece called me just after I finished my last post, and we played Pixie Hollow for about a hour. DH came home early in his usual bad mood. He owns 1/3 of the company he use to work for, so he's always stressed out. I worry about him......then just to spite my sister, I walked another 4 miles on my treadmill! HA - TAKE THAT!!

Thanks Momof4, you reminded me to drink more water too. Maybe that's why my scale hasn't moved? Does your heart monitor show you how many steps you've taken? I've always wanted one of those. How much did it cost?

Have a great rest of the Day!

momof4under5 06-25-2010 09:12 PM

sarah- it tells you when your heart rate gets to the right rate while your excercising then it tells you how many calories your buring...and TONS of other stuff and its water prrof 30meters. My friend on facebook I met thru biggest loser she got like a vip to the last casting call but didnt make it any further so she decided to start on her own and starting using hers and is doing well. Pretty much you can do the same as what a body bugg does. Like the body bugs will tell you how much you burn then you go online and type in what you ate then it tells you what the difference is left. Well on livestrong.com under daily plate you can put your calories up and then you can put your calories burnt and it will give you the difference. You dont have to pay 200 for a body bug or monthly service to keep it running. This cost less than $10 on ebay! plus free shipping!!
I was reading this book bout having a clean home and she said if you fine your home base spot and keep it clean you wont be as stressed. For me its my bathroom downstairs because I am always moving thru the house but when I go to the bathroom I have no choice but to look at it even if its for a minute or two...so I have found if my bathroom is cleaned I am not as stressed! lol weird I KNOW!!

HoneyMustard 06-26-2010 04:47 PM

You know that makes perfect sense! The first room you see in the morning, and the last room you see at night! Argh logic!..makes my head hurt! Thanks for the info on the monitor, I'll have to look it up.

BTW- thought it was time to change my user name! I no longer feel heavy, and I shouldn't be reinforcing the idea of being homebound, so.....just sayin'

momof4under5 06-26-2010 05:38 PM

sarah-lol you made me laugh!!! Yes def. Good idea to not keep telling yourself your heavy!!! hope you have a great weekend!

hope4me 06-27-2010 07:37 AM

Good morning all :coffee:

I've been busy but I've been reading. Wanted to stop in quickly but I have to get to work.

Mom, the bathroom thing makes perfect sense. If my living room and kitchen were clean I think I wouldn't feel nearly as stressed. :chin:

HoneyM, love the new name! Your right, I have the same habit of reinforcing the negative. I need to learn from your example.

Vermont, hope you are having a blast.

Leenie, I really miss you posting here. I know you've been around a long time and I'm sure you go through phases where you just don't feel like it anymore. I completely understand, just miss ya. ;)

Hi to everybody but gotta go...

Just checking in.

Nothing much happening here. I started a new thread in General Chatter about crafts. I've been posting pics of things I make, and talking to people there too. Typing is soooo much easier than actually talking to someone right in front of you. Kind of a relief, no one can see just how much of a freak I am, lol!

Type at you latter!

Hey everyone, hope all is well. We're going camping soon too and I can't wait. We tent it and being Canadian I've tented in every kind of weather you can imagine.. yes, even snow! We have so much gear though we manage alright. We're going on a short fishing trip leaving July 2nd, then we're going to a 4X4/pig roast trip the next weekend!

Ug, I ended up off my meds for a few days and was surprised how quickly I had symptoms of withdrawl and depression. I felt horrible, was all agitated and antsy, couldn't concentrate on anything, everything bugged me. I'm relieved to be back on them even though I hate taking pills.

Eh... speaking of not being able to concentrate... the filter on one of my aquariums is rattling and it's driving me bonkers!!! I've got to go fix that. Later!

Is this the Depression Forum or the Camping Forum? :joker: I'm not sure I belong since I have no plans for camping this year or possibly ever. DF says his idea of roughing it is a hotel with no room service.

Let me just say that I love mexican food. I would suggest however not eating the full cup of cheese dip if your watching your calories. :o Moving on.

I just did The Biggest Loser Boot Camp video of Bob's. It kicked my butt. In the past I've not really enjoyed his workouts because he is soo off rhythm, fast-slow, fast-slow, not even finishing some of the moves but this one is much better and quite a workout if you have heavy enough weights.

DF and I are off together tomorrow for the first time in a long time. We are going to the shooting range (yikes), to a movie, and dinner. Should be fun. See you all tomorrow.
