Finally the boss is in a meeting and I can come to my favorite place

TGIF ! No great plans for the weekend, just finishing making the fresh tomato sauce I started yesterday and enjoying the weather. One thing about the fall coming is the Bee's go nuts. They fly around like they are drunk and they chase you. One year I took my nephew to a farm where they have animals and veggies, etc...we all got one of their home made donuts and were enjoying them outside walking around, wouldn't you know the bee's were attacking us like mad........ needless to say Me, Sean and my Mom went screaming for the car - BUT !! we didn't drop the donuts :donut:

Hi Leens and everyone else,

We are suppose to have very hot weather (90's) here in New England this weekend, so that will be nice for the people who hate to see the summer go.

My husband is in Seattle on business, so he will miss the nice weather. I am driving my mom and her cousin into Boston's Logan Airport tomorrow. The fools are going gambling in Vegas. The worst part is...I have to pick them up on 9-11!!!! I don't want to even be near the airport where all the maddness started one year ago let alone FLY!!!!! Oh well!!

I am leaving in a half an hour to have my big old boobs squeezed in that little cold machine. Glad that only comes once a year. Need to drive into Boston for that too so I'd better run since I don't know how things are as far as traffic.

I have been pretty good all week, drinking my water and exercising and doing every other little thing I know to do.

We have our first football game of the season tonight, and my youngest son is a drummer in the band so we will be there. We have a great big ole tropical depression in the gulf here in Louisiana, and it has been drizzling for hours now. I imagine by tonight it will be a full blown storm. Trying to think of what outfit made out of plastic that I can wear to the game and where my rubber booties are. It is gonna be a soupy mess out there. yuck! Why am I going again? oh yea, that's right...to watch my son drum!

It's suppose to rain all weekend, but tonight will be the only time that I am out in it unless it is to get in and out at church on Sunday, cause I'm not going nowhere else. :-)

Hello Ladies,

Things are fine out in the wild west. I am at lunch and counting the minutes until I get to go home for the weekend. This week hasn't been the best.. my depression reared its ugly head yesterday. I haven't had a spell in a long time.. the meds generally control it pretty well. I tried to logic my way out of it.. nope. I tried to cry my way out of it.. nope.. had little interest in tears. I ended up just ending the day early, and heading to bed with a new book and my kittycat. It seems to have done the trick. Today I feel peachy keen... but I know it isn' far away.. can feel it there lurking. Maybe a nice restful weekend will tuck that monster back in bed!!!

Leens.. I want some of the fresh tomato sauce.. as well as some fresh pasta to go along with it.

Meg good luck with getting boobies smashed. I have a referral paper and need to schedule mine in the next couple of weeks. Just remember, not to look. I did once.. and I got dizzy. I never expected to see it THAT flat!!

Cathy.. you can make yourself an outfit out of a large hefty bag. Cut a hole in one end, and two holes out the side and .. Voila.. a raincoat. Dilbert calls this Engineer Gear!

Hi Ladies,

Our dog....Charlie...he's a Border Collie was castrated 2 days ago. He is 19 months old & it seemed to hit him harder than our last dog. He was pretty quiet yesterday. Today he has more energy.

I went back to the gym 2 days ago. Hadn't been there in months. Right now I am just walking. That is better than nothing. So I have walked 2 times this week.

It is cloudy out today & it was cold this A.M. It was +4.2C when I got up. It's only Sept.!!!!!!

I went to Costco & to coffee with friends this A.M. After staying the same for 2 weeks.....I lost .4 of a lb. this week. It sure is slow. I wonder if it's the Effexor XR?
