Umm.. I usually buy them
at Trader Joe's. One's I get there are : Dress the Dragon Sauce.. I believe about 10 calories and no fat, a Hawaiian Pineapple Teriyaki, I think about 20 calories and no fat.. also a thai peanut sauce.. a bit higher in calories and fat.. but ooooh so good.. I buy their thick udon noodles, and in with those noodles, there is a seasoning mix that is pretty good to add. Cost Plus, if you have those in your area, also carry pre-made sauces.. I bought a honey garlic and a mango based one therethis last weekend. I have a black bean sauce, hoisin sauce, lemon sauce at home as well.
A basic homemade sauce is:
soy sauce
water or chicken broth
cornstarch
fresh grated ginger
white pepper
Other things to add or not: lemon juice, garlic, crushed red pepper, sherry /dry white wine, tabasco, vinegar, brown sugar, orange or lemon peel, sesame seeds, chinese five spice powder, sesame oil ( expensive but a little goes a very long way).
Here is a hyperlink on yahoo to a search I did for stir fry sauce recipes.. have fun and eat your veggies!!
