Unhappy SOOO FRUSTRATED..thought I woulda lost by now...

I have been on the wellbutrin for lil over 2 weeks and it is like night and day of what i was before. I am constantly moving and doing stuff. Dont pig out on junk food dont over eat....I bout I new scale and weighed my self and i lost not a flipping thing. I should just go back to laying on the couch doing nothings...My husband told me he hear a guy on the radio seen a study on the difference between men and women losing weight. It said me naturally can lose as soon as they start excercising..in most cases...Women it takes 3 weeks sometimes because their metabolism actually protects the fat until after a while it realizes hey they are trying to get rid of the fat. I dont know if its true cause i havent looked it up. But when I got on the new scale monday it really depressed me I actually ate AWFULLY and didnt care....cause whats the difference eating good and moving did nothing for me. I am trying to fit in excercise but we are moving houses saturday so most all my time goes into taking care of my 4 under 5 and packing...I have been able to get on the tread mill but it doesnt seem to make a difference. This is becoming a health issue i can just feel it!!! I actually didnt even get on this site for the last few days cause I was frustrated!!!! ok Guess thats it just needed to vent!!! Thanks for listening girls (and guys if there r any reading!!!)

Hi momof4!

I noticed that you said you weighed yourself on your "new" scale! Maybe not losing can be attributed to that. You should keep using the same scale at every weigh in - otherwise your results will get messed up.

Also, what plan are you on? How long have you been on it?

Weight loss is a really difficult journey! It takes a lifetime to put on the weight so OBVIOUSLY it wont come off that easy. It takes hard work! However, having said that you should NOT give up. Maybe this week you haven't lost anything but you've been making healthy choices which count for something right??

Good job so far! I know exactly where you are coming from. I was on lexapro and put on about 15 lbs! I stopped taking it because I was over eating big time!

If you would like to talk a little more don't hesitate to send me a pm!

All the best to you! Keep going at it, it WILL pay off!

don't give up sweetie. Everyone looses it at different rates. Try not to weight yourself to often. It might make you derail. Just keep eating healthy and taking care of your body, even if the scale doesn't budge you will notice the difference it makes with how you feel. I know that when I eat bad and derail it makes me physically feel like garbage. and why do we want to do that?! So keep faith. Keep doing it. Its' GOING To budge, I promise. Don't give up. Don't sabotage yourself with eating that crappy stuff. I did it last night as a matter of fact and emotionally as well as physically, I regretted it, which previously only would have made me DO IT AGAIN. Geez. It's going to come off.
Why isn't taking it off as fun or as easy as putting it on????
*hugs*
