Morning all!

It's sunny here today, and I DID manage to take the dog for a walk yesterday (though only about two thirds of how far I was going a couple weeks ago...) and so I feel pretty good about it all.

Sassy - thinking of you! good luck and keep us posted!

Cathy - you're right, of course: I felt better as soon as I actually dragged my carcass out the door! :D

It's the long weekend up here in Canada, and I am fighting with the husband (:() so who knows how it will go? Oh, wait - *I* do!!! I CAN control what goes in my mouth!! :D

Went last night to the cinema to see 'The Invisible' - by myself - and really enjoyed it - bypassed the snacks and just chewed gum throughout the film - felt on a very high moral horse coming home!!

Have a great weekend, everybody!!

Heather :D

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the info Sassy, I'll keep researching. This is the last of her prescription so we have to go back to the doc so that will be an excellent time to ask more questions. They seem to like the diane-35 here as my sister was prescribed the same thing (different town and doc) Good luck with your doc appointment on Monday.

Hope glad to hear that you enjoyed the concert. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the name either. (we get only two channels so that really limits what we see) I hope you are feeling better.

Heather congrats on getting out for a walk. A and I talked about it yesterday, but thats as far as it went. Enjoy the long weekend.

Leenie, glad to hear that you didn't suffer any damage from the tornado, boy that must have been scary to have something like that hit so close.

Hi Cathy, dianne and everyone else!

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts, things are still improving, two steps forward on back.

Not much going on here, its has clouded over and "they" are calling for thunder showers this afternoon. I was hoping to get outside today, but I think it will be spent doing a little cleaning and hopfully some sewing. B has gone to a park with one of her friends for the day, I hope there is a covered area. No real plans for the long weekend though, other than getting B's hair cut, she has been after me for a good month to cut it for her, with this being the long weekend it seems like a good time.

Anyway I hear thunder so I better get off of here.

Take care ladies and have a wonderful weekend,
K

Hi Heather  and thanks and I will. ;) WTG on the walk and walking past the snacks at the movie theater. I know that is no easy task. I hope you and hubby make up....

I hope you all are having a Great Saturday! :D

Hi everybody,

Been resting most of the day trying to get over this cold/sinus situation. The combo of Nyquil and Advil PM made for a good night's sleep.

Heather: I saw 'The Invisible' and thought it was pretty good too. I can't say that I passed up the expensive, sinful movie popcorn however. Good for you.:corn: Even when I was on plan this past time I allowed for it, minus the butter. I do WW and w/o the butter it is 1 point per cup. Many times it sent me over my points, but oh well. Just can't seem to get past that hurdle. Congrats on the walk. Fight over yet?

Sassy: we are all waiting and hoping you get your answers Monday.

Buddly: I can barely sew on a button. I forget sometimes a lot of you guys aren't here in the states and don't always know the same 'stars' we do, although Elliott hasn't made it BIG TIME yet anyway.

Wishing you all well with lots of free time (Leenie!), good weather, and no more 'dark places'.

Good Morning,

Good to see everyone

It was (or might) rain today but when you look outside right now you'd never know it. The skys are beautiful blue.

Got more cleaning to do today to get ready for our mini-vacation in 2 weeks. First vacation (3 days LOL) with DH in 17 looooooooong years LOL.

Other than that, I'm cooking a roast, and I'll make meat balls for the weeks dinners.

Have a happy happy Sunday !!!

Hello ladies, i'm new here. Glad to meet you!

Hi Ladies!

I am starting my new program "Volumetrics" tomorrow and I wanted to have support- I found the info about the program on MSNBC I think, and in the article were some sites to turn to for weight loss support no matter what plan you are using.

So that is why I am here.

and in this thread because I have similar issues.

I have tried the Michael Thurmond plan 3 separate times. It does work but I cannot stick to it so I don't work on it.

So I did some resarch online to see whatelse was out there.

In my life time I have joined weightwatchers at LEAST 10 times - so here I am and I will check in and read your posts too.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Susan
