1200 minutes in 30 days
November 1-20 minutes November 2-30 minutes treadmill November 3-35 minutes treadmill, 4 reps of 8 times each with 10 pound weights both arms (not sure how to write that due to just started today; (LOL) November 4-40 minutes treadmill, some weights for the arms, and started abs and thighs with pilates (a little tough though. I couldn't finish the whole thing, because I am so out of shape. LOL I may not have the beginner pilates; maybe i'll look around at the store for a beginner one). November 5-slowly walked around Apple Hill (apple orchard), not even enough to break a sweat. and some weight lifting. November 6- 50 minutes on the treadmill. November 7- 60 minutes on treadmill November 8- 50 minutes/2 miles treadmill, 3 miles brisk walk with new friend. (plans to try out new friend's gym tomorrow). |
Good Morning!!! Well, my seester's wrist was better yesterday, so we powered down with 70 minutes in the Gym!:lifter: :tread: I raised my weights a little bit, so I was extra tired when we were done, and boy, do I hurt today!!! Thanks K, for the vote of confidence! I really appreciate it.:hug: And to top it off, my DH and I are maintaining our resolve to get up every other morning to work out! YAY!:exercise: You guys are great, and really keeping me motivated! Thank you all sooo much!:hug: :hug: :hug:

Shellie I am glad we are here to help! I like having a goal to try and reach. I may have some trouble with my 35 miles walked, I need to get my butt in gear and get on the treadmill (I generally use my stationary bike). Since today and tomorrow are my days off. I am going to get in an extra workout after DH gets home. I may call my sister and ask if she wants to go to the mall and walk around (it has been way to wet to walk outside here). OR I might go to my moms and help her get ready to move (loading and unloading boxes full of stuff will be a great workout!)
Yesterday I had a great workout I did 20 minute Pilates, 20 minutes on my weights and 30 minutes on my bike and 10 minutes worth of stretching. Oh yeah, one of my goals was to be able to touch my nose to my knee while stretching Yesterday I was able to do it on both sides!!!! I haven't been stretching (I don't know why) so when I did it yesterday it felt so good. I am going to start doing 5-10 minutes of stretching everyday! |
Wow Jeni, sounds like you are doing great!:bravo: I know it's hard to get it done, but we can do it! So you live in WA? I was watching the news yesterday, and saw the major flooding going on, I hope you don't have any problems.

I had a flooded basement and now have a leaky roof. We are used to flooding here, but we weren't the worst hit, thank goodness! I am on the coast so the water empties right into the bay so floods never lasts too long for us.

How scary either way! I hope nothing was ruined. My DH and I were thinking of relocating to WA, but now I'm not so sure. Sounds like they don't need too many Firefighters up there w/ all that rain!

Okay everyone I have been crazy busy all week! You guys look like you all are doing great! Keep it up! I am sorry to say I have not ben able to find the time to try my pilaties vido yet. :( I will do it though! I am at 775 minutes of walking though. In am down to 216 now. We can do this ladies!!

Walking is the only thing I am doing right now Shellie. I did want to start a gym up but we are hopefully moving in a few months to another state so that would not be good with a year contract. I am going to start the pilates though!

Jcatron~YAY!!!!! Doing good with your exercise as well. Jasmine~ I really hope you get some time to do that Pilates, you'll love it. I went to the gym last night. I did the Ellipitcal for 33 min.(2.80miles) and the Treadmill for 17min. (1.06miles) PlusI walked for an hour, 30min.in the morning and 30min. in the afternoon. So all is good. Weigh in tomorrow. Hoep all goes well. I will be HAPPY with lb loss. *CROSSING FINGERS* Well, ya'll have a GREAT DAY and don't forget to DRINK YOUR WATER!!![/SIZE] |
:crossed: :crossed: :crossed: Fingers crossed, Jelly. With all the working out it looks like you have been doing, you should have no problem at all losing weight. Just remember though, muscle weighs more than fat, so if you don't get the number that you want, just take a look at how your clothes are fitting you.
