HI everyone - I hope everyone is doing well. I had my hip replacement one month ago and I'm ready to join this challenge. The day before my surgery I weighed 129.6 and two days later I weighed 137.6. I couldn't believe I had gained 8 lbs in 2 days! I think it was from the inflammation from the surgery. My entire leg and hip area was super swollen. The swelling has not fully disappeared yet but it has gotten so much better. So far I have lost about 5 of the 8 lbs I gained from my surgery. Apparently it can take 3 months or more for the swelling to completely disappear.

Had a bad month last month so I wasn’t around. Too much stress (which of course lead to not planning meals so take out & stress eating)… not enough focus on ME and what I needed. That is changing.

well done on your loss flower1. I hope your hip is on the mend & you're feeling better. I know that gain a few lb when I just have sore muscles from weight training, so I'm not surprised you gained 8lb from the inflammation after your surgery!
