Hello again all of you.
Thank you Joy for doing this thread again.
In December, I gained rather than lost. In January,I did the same.
I am starting to try a different approach. My biggest downfall is my love for dairy, especially milk.
I am going to make my New Year's resolution...... finally. I am going to give up dairy until I lose another 20 lbs at least ( Ugh) That is about equivalent to swearing off all nice beautiful women.
I am trying to do the keto diet and I further resolve to keep learning more about it and following it at least until I get my weight down some, that 20 lbs more.
Last month my starting weight was 233 lbs, the same as for December. This month my starting weight is 236, a gain of 3 lbs. My goal will be high this time and I resolve to achieve it.
Febuary goal, 7 lbs, staying off dairy, and counting both carbs and calories with emphasis on carbs and keeping within the limits of keto. I will stick with it unless it affects my health adversely.

Hi everyone - I got off to a slow start this month and was not following my plan very closely. This past week has been better and I'll try to stay closer on plan for the last half of February. I hope everyone else is well.
I'm committing to a better rest of the month, too, flower1. I tried not to let it impact me, but I'm happy to be past Valentine's Day and the Super Bowl that both have unhelpful food traditions for me.
I am up and down and all over the place. In the first 4 days of losing 7 lbs this month I was down 5 lbs, really looking good. Shot back up 4 lbs, down, up down, and now finally still down 6 lbs. Seems like 1 more to go for goal, but we shall see.

This morning 229.6
Tomorrow -up-down ???
