If it wasn’t for those Halloween Happy Meal buckets I would be doing so much better. Trying to get all 3 buckets for my friend’s kids.

You got this Wendy! I couldn't even find the buckets. They sold out fast here.

I am not even sure what I am doing. I lost a bunch of weight a few years ago and since then I put it all back on. This site was so helpful for me then, but I cannot stay consistent with logging on now. I keep letting stress and emotions get the best of me with decisions on food and exercise. I keep reminding myself that I did it once, I can do it again. Just have to find the right routine/balance for where I am now in life.

I tried to focus on drinking more water and walking more yesterday, so I think that is why I saw a 1.8lb drop on the scale.

I'll join in here. Mara, I came back here for the same reasons as you, this site and the people here helped me so much a few years ago when I lost the most weight I have in my adult life! I gained it back plus more and reached my highest weight last month. Since then I have been working on getting my mind back in the game and trying to get back to my previous habits that led to success. I liked this thread then and I'm going to set a goal today. Good luck to everyone!

Hi momtopands! I feel like I am starting to shift back onto the correct path!

I didn't lose much (-.0.2), but I indulged a bit for Halloween. Today is my birthday, so I am going to enjoy it, but not go overboard.

Welcome Mara & Momtopands.
Happy belated Birthday Mara
i’m just very glad to know I’m not in this thread by myself.
Halloween was a little hard and I still have some candy left over, but not going overboard.

Good morning, all!

I always forget how much of an impact electrolytes have on helping with water retention-- I made sure I was well hydrated yesterday, including an electrolyte drink because I did quite a lot of work in the yard, and it looks like both paid off! I'll take the whooshes when they happen, I'm hoping to be down to the high 220s by my wedding (around Christmas), if not lower!

I’m not surprised my weight rebounded today—it usually does after a significant whoosh, but also because I did a lot of physical work yesterday and feel sore in some major muscle groups (yay water retention!) but it’s a good sore reminding me I I got myself moving, not an “I think I injured myself” kind of sore

Hi All! I was back up to 242.9 yesterday after some pretty heavy lifting the day before. Today's weigh in leveled out a little bit at 241.3-- I'm looking forward to the next time I take my measurements on Saturday to see if there's any progress on that front!

I'm going back to the goal of not eating anything unless I made it at home/know exactly what it in it. I've been on track with this for the past week or so and I'm excited the scale is cooperating!
