Thanks Joy. I’ll check out the YouTube videos.
So glad the site is fixed, now I might be here every morning.
Had a bit of a yo-yo the end of this week, but it’s ok, I’m still down, that’s all that matters.
2lb loss so far. I think I was carry a bit of muscle repair weight at the start of the month, so it's not all "true" loss in the week. but I'm pretty happy to be out of the 16st range & (just) into 15st.
I had an overly snacky weekend. I knew the scale reading would be high today, but I decided I wanted to see the high number for the pleasure of watching it fall over the week. I'm hiking today -- that usually helps.
Joy - your wording made me laugh (I think I might use that in the future since being overly snacky is usually my problem). I’m with you. I had an enjoyable weekend with friends & making memories, and I ate some not-so-healthy meals, but all is ok. My scale was already on the down swing this morning. Here’s to a productive week.
I’ve added my starting weight to the list to remind myself of how far I’ve come already.
I'm pleased that I reached my half-way goal to weigh 20 times, before the half-way point of the month. At least, I know I'm not avoiding the scale too much.
I do try to weigh every day, at least this way I don’t slip too far.
I had set a reward for myself when I got to 185 AND stayed there or under for a week… 3 more days to go… let’s hope this weekend doesn’t ruin it for me.
If I can keep under 185 when I weigh in tomorrow I get my reward. 7/23: 197.4 9/30: 184.8
10/1: 186.6
10/2: 185.4

10/7: 183.6
10/8: 184.0
10/9: 184.0
10/10: 185.6
10/11: 184.6
10/12: 183.6
10/13: 183.2
10/14: 183.2
10/15: 184.4
10/16: 183.4 Oct Goal: 182.0
0.5lb loss since 7th Oct - 2.5lb loss total. weight still coming off, albeit slowly. I have been making an effort to eat better lately, & *what* I have been eating has improved I just need to dial back the *how much* a bit now.
Wendy: Yay for meeting your goal to win your reward! Meeting a goal before vacation is always a good motivator.
MrBadger: It took a long time for me to wrap my head around the notion that I had to eat less, not just better. I still kind of resent that eating better didn't result in the weight loss I anticipated! But, when I step back, I'm also aware that I generally feel better when I eat better, so it all helps.
