January Exercise Challenge
Moving into 2022!
State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration. This thread is for fitness and exercise goals. My January goal is 600 minutes of intentional exercise. Jan6: 50 min exercise bike AM; 30 min outdoor walk PM Jan8: 60 min exercise bike AM Jan10: 35 min exercise bike AM; 20 min outdoor walk PM Jan11: 55 min exercise bike AM; 20 min outdoor walk PM Jan18: 25 min exercise bike AM Jan20: 45 min exercise bike AM Jan21: 55 min exercise bike AM Jan25: 10 min exercise bike Jan28: 30 min outdoor walk TOTAL MINUTES: 435 |
My goal for January is to keep it simple for goals, not to go overboard with ideas and expectations, and anything extra is EXTRA CREDIT which I may do if I feel cooperative with myself, but is not required. :)
2 gym classes per week 1 rando gym workout per week 1 long walk or 20 min hill walk 25 pushups every morning No hard feelings. I am brand new here and not sure this is how the goals track. S |

I am back joining this challenge. I am just starting to walk again since i've been having trouble with my knee I will be taking it easy. My goal for now is walking 3 times per week, around 15 minutes each walk. That is 0.5 miles each time so that comes out to 6 miles and 195 minutes for January. Looking forward to getting back on track!

I would love to join!
I am easing my way back in after being inactive for a few months. I walk some but I need to get my endurance up for a MudOCR in April. I am doing a BB program and I am committed to working out either 6 days a week or completing 6 workouts in a week. So far I have finished 4 workouts and I am doing double duty today. Each workout is about 30 minutes so, I will be doing 180 minutes of exercise a week. |

Goal: 12/12 - Jan 28 03: 70 walk, 1/12 (70/800) 05: 35 walk, 2/12 (105/800) 06: 30 walk, 3/12 (135/800) 07: 70 walk, 4/12 (205/800) 13: 50 walk, 5/12 (255/800) 14: 55 walk, 6/12 (310/800) 20: 70 walk, 7/12 (380/800) 22: 70 walk, 8/12 (450/800) 23: 45 (35 walk/10 ST), 9/12 (495/800) 24: 30 walk, 10/12 (525/800) 25: 25 stretch + ST, 11/12 (550/800) 28: 60 walk, 12/12 (610/800) 29: 60 walk, 13/12 (670/800) 31: 40 walk, 14/12 (710/800) I achieved my goal of exercising at least 12 days this month and was about 90 minutes short of my 800 minutes. Way to go, flower1 and me! I've left myself with a challenge on the last day of the month. I need 70 minutes to finish my goal of 1600 minutes in January. That's close enough that I'm feeling pretty determined!
