  • Our usual Merry Month of May will likely bring fewer parties, but it will still bring flowers! Whether you're walking in nature or checking out the exercise possibilities on streaming services, we're happy to encourage your workouts in May!

    State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

  • It looks like I'll meet two out of three of my exercise goals for April. I'm going to bump up the goal for the two parts that I'm meeting easily, right now. I'll keep working on that strength-training piece!

    May goal: 1400 minutes, including 25x stretching and 10x strength-training

    My kinda lame goal is to do something fitness-related every day, whether it's a structured form such as youtube or DVD workout, free-form stretching/ab work, walking the dog, gardening.

    Well I'm sidelined for a while doctor's orders. I'm on antibiotics and an inhaler, have chest X rays and a Covid-19 test scheduled for today. I know I can have SOME control over something though, what I put into my mouth! so I will still try my best to help my fitness/health by thinking of our May Weight Loss Challenge.

  • I want to join but exercise is super challenging for me. Last night I walked 10 minutes (it was close to dusk and I got bit up by mosquitos. Guess I need to walk earlier or wear a long sleeve blouse. Right now with pools closed I am doing short walks or riding my exercise bike. Goal for this week (I start my week on Fridays) is 4 days take a walk and track how long each one is. 3 days exercise bike starting at 5 minutes and working my way up.
