March Exercise Challenge
Let's march into March for our exercise challenge!
State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. With two extra days to play with, I'm bumping up my goal for minutes of exercise from 1200 in February to 1300 in March. I'm setting strength-training and stretching goals, too, because that helps with my variety. I'm loving getting most of my strength-training from yoga poses -- I feel stronger without higher anxiety like I get with other methods (looking at you, Jillian Michaels).

My workout goals for this month are to: 1. Work out 6 days per week doing alternating days of weight training and cardio. 2. Walk every afternoon (6 days per week) for between 30 mins. to 1 1/2 hours. I’m looking forward to the challenge! |

I dropped the ball again in February and didn't do anything in March until yesterday. And with spring break to boot... I will set a lower goal of 500 minutes. Mar7: 20 min exercise bike Mar8: 35 min outdoor walk Mar9: 35 min outdoor walk Mar10: 30 min outdoor walk Mar 12, 13, and 14: several hours of yardwork, but no walking (not counted) Mar15: 25 min walk Mar18: 35 min walk Mar26: two 30 min walks total: 240 min |
