Lots of new names since I was away. Welcome to all!

Jules, I follow a 1200 cal, low carb eating plan. The first few weeks were hard, now it's my norm. And I try to use the treadmill at least 4 times per week. I do 3.1 miles each time. Just recently, I've been able to add small running intervals on the treadmill, usually during commercials while watching tv.

Kstrong, I travel for work too and use the beam scale in the hotel gym. I've been told that if you put the weights to zero and the horizontal bar stays midline/level, then the scale is accurate. It seems to correlate to my home digital scale, so twice a month, I accept the hotel scale number.

Denise, congrats on the great loss! You talk about struggles but you're obviously doing the work to get the job done!

CJZee, slow and steady losses are great! I only whoosh after traveling when I hold lots of fluid. My ankles swell every time I fly cross country.

Lacerta, you're my inspiration. I seem to be following you by 5 ish lbs. You give me hope that I can get to goal. I've been concerned that as I get closer, it'll get harder to lose those last pounds. Then I see how well you're doing and I think "I can do that too!"

So I've just passed 60 lbs gone since March 1. I've dropped my BMI from 37.8 to 28.2. My goal is a normal BMI, 25 or less. I owe a ton of thanks to this site for all the support. :thanks:

Jules That was the first time I really drank in over 2 years lol I just had to celebrate though.
I had 1 cheat day a week for the past month, I'm finding too many reasons to celebrate! No more though till December! I need to lose 10 pounds and I'll meet the goal I set for myself last summer when I started this journey!
I can't believe we are 1/3 of the way through fall already! I miss summer!

Chest from a 44 to 39.5. Hips from 47 to 44 in just 4 months. And a lot of my workout clothes are starting to fall off me!

So I thought I was headed for a loss this week. Sunday’s weight was in the 172’s but Monday is official weigh in day and today the scale said 174. Maybe next week.

My chart totally looks like I'm going in the wrong direction. I'm really not. I've just been bouncing around each day between 169 and 171 for several weeks now. I did go up a little bit from where I ended October, but with the huge drop I saw last month, that wasn't really a surprise. I'm ok with maintaining for now. Eventually, things will start moving again. My original goal for the entire season was to be basically where I am now, so a little maintenance is TOTALLY ok with me.

I also moved a few people down to inactive. Please come back, inactive people. We MISS you.
