Vicki: You've had a great month. Way to go. I want to see you reach the 180s.

Total Loss for Week Four:

Partway back down. I have a wedding to go to one week from today, so hoping to lose the bloat and be back in the 170s by then.

Lacerta, good to know that your weight gain is something that should correct itself eventually. Thanks for researching and posting what you have found...I have learned so much from others that have shared their experiences.
--------------------------------------------------------
Week 4:
21: 199
22: 197.8
23: 196.6
24: 196.6
25: 198
26: 197.2
27: 196.6

Well, I am happy to say that I have not gotten back to 200 at all this week, so yay! Hoping to get below 195 soon. This week was super challenging for me. I didn't realize AF was around the corner until I looked on my app and saw, which explained why I was wanting to eat everything in the house and then some. Hopefully, this week won't be as bad. I'll be working in my classroom trying to get it ready for the new school year, so my mind will be occupied with that.

Well, I definitely had an exodus of extra water weight. Part of it is that I'm at the end of my period, which often coincides with a LOT of diuresis for me. That often means that I'll have a slow down, bump up, or stall in weight the next week or two (which I have to remind myself about otherwise I get worried).

7/27 - 181.6

sgregg and Keala: Way to go both of you this week. You guys are kicking butt.

VickiLou: Great month overall for you. Way to go getting to the lower half of the 190s

Apparently the forum ate my earlier post, so I'll post it again. I was back down almost to the 170s today, so that was nice. I was actually down about 1/2 a pound on average from the week before, even with the workout bloat, so that was even better. I'm hoping to have a good week this week, lose the rest of the workout bloat and whoosh back into the 170s to end the month, and have my average weight for the week drop into the 170s as well.

Well, I'm hoping to finish the month at 195. I have got to stay on track with my eating if that's going to happen. Also, I'm going to be working in my classroom the next few days so hopefully the extra exercise will help get some weight off, however, the extra stress on my body may make it have the opposite reaction. We shall see.

I'm ignoring today's weigh in. I would have been back down more, but had to wake up and go to work super early and thus weigh in 2.5 hours earlier than normal, which also means that I got less sleep than usual. I expect to be down again tomorrow.
Nice thing is that I did another strength workout and I'm not sore at all. In my research, I found that some people are never sore, some are sore every time, and some are only sore when starting out a new exercise routine. Apparently, I am the latter. So no barriers to continuing to work out. Yay.

So yesterday I was up a bit because it was really early. Today, I don't have that reason, but I am feeling a bit of DOMS. Meh, I'm kind of ignoring the scale altogether right now. I'm still tracking it, but I'm not going to freak out if it stays put for a while. I'm focusing on my choices and habits, and not on the results.

Thank You, Lacerta! You are doing Awesome reaching Your goals for the Year! Good Luck, Everyone! I won't reach my goal weight for the month but this is the most weight I've lost for the whole year in a month.

SW: 201
CW: 193.6 (- 7.4) My lowest weight in 2016!
GW: 190

Ok last morning of the month for me. Started at 114 lb. Came in at 113.7 lb today. Not achieved my 'lofty' target of 1lb but actually i'm happy enough, and will take the 0.3lb!!
I did try my litmus test skirt on yesterday just to see how it felt, and it's fine, so that's all good.
Next month will be a challenge with a weeks ski holiday in the middle. You'd think that would be ok, but I won't by gyming, i'll be riding around on ski lifts, and eating out all the time, so some sort of moderation strategy is needed.....
Good luck to everyone else with their weigh-ins today :)

Bonus Days
29: 180.4
30: 180.6
31: 180.4
----------------------------
Total Loss for Bonus Days: +0.2
Total loss for Entire Month: -3.0

My current measurements (to the nearest .25 inch) are:
Neck: 13.25 -> 13.25
Bicep: 13 -> 12.5
Forearm: 10.5 -> 10.5
Chest: 41 -> 41
Waist: 35.5 -> 34.5
Belly/Hips: 43 -> 42.5
Thigh: 24.5 -> 24
Calf: 16.5 -> 16.5

So I did lose a couple inches overall this month. Honestly, even though I wanted to lose 6 pounds, and only lost 3, I'm still calling it a win, because I started lifting weights, which I kept telling myself to do and kept not doing.

ange82much 07-31-2019 06:23 PM

nice work Lacerta :)
That's definitely a win.
