Week One
01: 186.8 02: 183.4 03: 04: 05: 06: 07: --------------------------- Total Loss for Week One: I don't know how it's possible to go from yesterday's weight to today's weight in one day. Granted, I ate like junk all day on Thursday and yesterday I got back to being really strict. I did Keto for the first two months which is how I lost my first 25-30, trying to get back to being really strict with it to see how it goes. |

Bumped up my cardio time yesterday to see if that makes a difference. Running still makes my knee swell up the next day, so I'm going to stick with the bike. Also, I ate off plan a bit this weekend. :/ Not terrible, but not great. 80% on plan. Thank goodness the Girl Scout cookies are gone.

Week One
01: 195.2 02: 195.6 03: 195.0 04: 195.2 05: 06: 07: --------------------------- Total Loss for Week One: Another day, another 195.2. 13 days and counting now stuck at 195. I might be at plateau #2. I don't count it as a plateau until I'm 3 weeks at the same weight and also no measurable inches lost. Plateau #1 lasted about 6 weeks and I was eating at a deficit the entire time. Hopefully I'm wrong and this isn't another one, but it has been 6 months and another 10% of starting weight lost and a lot of things I've read said to expect a plateau every 10% lost. I'm at 27% and still have only had one, so I'm overdue for another. And honestly, if it is, I'm ok with it. I'm in this for the long run. Frustrated with the timing because I wanted to get to "no longer obese" by my 1 year mark, and while I'm really close, it probably isn't going to happen at this point I think I'm finally close to getting over the cold. Long 10 days. I'm still a tiny bit congested and still cough occasionally, but I'd say I'm 90% over it. Thanks for the well wishes Newlyn. The 195 has been here almost the same length of time as the cold....hmmm...just realized that....coincidence? Maybe now that I'm starting to feel better, the scale will start moving. One can hope. Hubby and I went for a 4 mile walk on our Greenbelt (a long paved path along our local river through the heart of the city) on Sunday, first time in a few months because of weather. Right by the local university, we saw two baby otters playing on the bank of the river, maybe 7 or 8 feet from us. Very cute. I've never seen otters on our river before, although I'd heard they were in there. I've seen geese, ducks, deer, turtle, a bald eagle once, and now otters. |

01: 186.8 02: 183.4 03: 183.2 04: 183.6 05: 183.6 06: 07: --------------------------- Total Loss for Week One: So it seems that I can't get below 183 lbs. Going out for a long walk later today, cold weather be damned. Hoping I can at least get a 182.8 tomorrow morning. I have an all-white party on Saturday and I'm down a dress size but I feel so bloated. |
I hope your not-pleateau (? ... I sometimes think 2 weeks is enough of frustration to calculated it as a plateau!) ends soon, Lacerta.
Congrats on being down a dress size, MrsDeenz! I have not late-night-snacked any day in March! Yahooooooooooooooooooooo!! Even if this does not register on my Wednesday weigh-in, I am really proud of this! I know, for a fact, if I can control my attempts to late-night-snack, it will be so, so healthy for my maintenance! Anyway, I am trying to give myself permission to late-night-snack one evening per week, but the rest of the days, I have to NOT do it. Hoping that 1 x per week 'release valve' will really help me stay on track. |

GW: 257.5 1: 261.5 2: 260.5 3: 261 4: 261 5: 261 Still no TOM and still got all the cramps and cravings, which really isn't great. I'm eating at maintenance, inc. lots of chocolate, and I feel pretty miserable. I'm at university tomorrow so I'll get some exercise and eat well while I'm there, so hopefully I'll feel better. |
Lacerta, I feel your pain. I've been plateaued since about January 24th and can't seem to get below 141. I've been in the 140s since October 5th. I just have to keep doing what I'm doing.

Maintaining. Somehow.
111.5 this morning, which is down a bit on the last few days. I definitely had the munchies a couple of days ago and wasn't eating as well as i'd like to. Picked up the discipline again in the last two days though so feeling a bit better about it now. Work trip to India for a week from Sunday, so that's going to be a full break to both eating and exercise routines - not necessarily a bad thing - it keeps my body guessing what it might be in for next! |
