    1: 273.5 Post-TOM whoosh! Miffed that it didn't happen yesterday for my September goal, but happy that it gives me an early boost for October!
    2: 273 There was obviously a bit more water to lose - my rings fit again!

    5: 270.5 I didn't expect a loss today but there it is. Over a month it's 7 pounds, so not unreasonable, but 6.5 of those pounds have been lost in the last week. I guess that's what happens when you're sedentary for a long time and then suddenly you aren't.

    YAY!!! Finally, I hit the 50 pound marker and got to change my avatar. Very excited. And made my goal for the month, but considering it was last month's goal too, I'm not as excited about that part. But YAY, 50 pounds down.

  • Newlyn: You definitely seem to be in a "stall and whoosh" pattern. 0.5 a pound over most of a month, then 6.5 pounds in one week, then staying there for most of the month, you are probably due for another awesome week.

    Well...I have no idea where that came from, but I'll certainly take it. Yay. Now I just need to hang on to it until the end of the month. Right now, I'm only about 3.5 pounds behind where my original schedule planned to be to get me to my year end goal. And that plan had a 2 pound buffer built into it, so I'm only about 1.5 pounds behind where I need to be. That is a lot of motivation for staying on track over the holidays.

    Lacerta It's strange. I've never experienced this before. In previous months it's been 0.5-1.5 loss/week, quite steadily, and it's only changed this month. I hope you're right that I'm due a whoosh!

    I had pepperoni pizza yesterday, didn't go over my calories, but possibly made me retain water. So I'm not surprised to be back up today, but I still stayed in the 216s, which is great. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
