Woohoo! I did have a huge drop that brought me down to 131! I was initially feeling guilty about eating so much on thanksgiving but I'm wondering if that's helping. I realized that I haven't been eating well on the weekends but still have a steady decrease in weight because the cheating enables me to be stricter on the weekdays with less cravings.
Hoping for a 4 lbs lost this month which would put me at 127, a weight I haven't been at in my adult life. That's an exciting thought :D

ophelia That is so exciting that you saw the 219's!! I hope the sodium from yesterdays dinner works itself out very soon. You are doing so well!

chub what an awesome whoosh!!! What is the difference in calories on the weekends vs. what you eat on the weekdays?

kelijpa nice drop!!

darius Nice to see you again!! Have you noticed a difference in your energy levels now that you have your CPAP?

joy bumps up are so frustrating, especially when you have been on plan. I hope you see a nice drop soon!

opheliaphoenix 12-03-2017 04:04 PM

chub: Yay!! Congrats on the drop! :yay: I think balance is key, so I'd bet that you are right.

kelijpa: I still have a few more ounces to go to be at a new low, but it's nice to be in the same number range as what my previous lowest was (219.0) now! Thank you. :)

gail28: Great progress so far this month...you're doing great! :cheer3:

kfunk: Thank you! I'm hoping to keep moving down from here and finally break through to that new low. :crossed:

--------------------------------------

I went out for an impromptu date out to dinner with my husband last night before he had to leave for a three week training class on the East coast this morning, and my weigh-in was still back down to 219.6 today...so, I'm happy with that! I was able to enjoy myself, filled up a little first with the salad beforehand, and now I even have leftovers for tonight. :hun: Wins all around, lol.

Kfunk: I've been trying to keep my weekday calories to around 1500 with a 500 burn through exercising. Usually it's very difficult for me to keep it under 1800 but because I've been living away from home temporarily for the last month during the week, it's been a lot easier. On the weekend, I usually average 2500-3000 cals. The reason is because I'm home with Mr. Chub and he eats quite a bit.
Ophelia: thank you and congrats on your journey as well. You look unstoppable right now :)

In other news, I'm slightly anxious for next week as I'll be moving home starting mid next week. Not sure how I'll be able to continue with my current progress but I'll draw out a plan and try to stick to it as much as possible.

chub I hope that your move back home goes well and that you can settle in to your plan nicely from there! The weekends are the hardest for me. I don't drink enough water and we always seem to be on the go which inevitably leads to eating out or over eating for me.

ophelia yay! you got a date night and you got back into the teens, way to go!! What do you usually order if you go out to dinner? Does your husband travel a lot?

chub: Thank you...and, good luck with the move back home! I have always eaten a lot better when I'm not eating with my husband too, so I get it...lol. I've been working on making healthier (and vegetarian-friendly) versions of all the stuff he likes to eat, so that I will have my own version to eat with him and the kids without indulging in every single heavy dinner that comes at me. (Unless it is some kind of take-out, then I just plan to portion control.) That way I can still feel included in what the family is eating without the extra serving of guilt on the side, haha. It can be kind of a pain to prepare something seperately, depending on what I'm making, but I'm already the only vegetarian in the house, so I tend to do it anyway. ;)

gardenerjoy: Thank you for updating the post with the list, and yay for starting to come back down from your unexpected little bump up. :cheer3:

kfunk: It depends on where we go, but I always take advantage of a pre-entree salad, if available. I always check the lightest options first and usually choose from those, or - if I am getting something more indulgent - I will usually just try to eat half and take the rest home. If I expect to go all out for a special occasion, I will plan in advance for that and either do more of a workout to offset it or skip a meal/extend my fast. :)

Well, I hit it...a new adult low!!!:goodscale :carrot: Weigh-in was 218.6 today, officially putting me below my prior post-highschool record of 219 lbs. I'm thrilled to now be exploring uncharted waters in weight loss and ready to see where I can go from here! Even if it bumps back up a little tomorrow, I am still happy to see a new number today...lol.
