Hi girls

I am definitely in! Life has been so busy and I have not been able to be here as much as I would like but with that said, that is exactly my primary goal.....to be here when I can!

Daydreamer, thank you! THis is really wonderful! Labor day is Sep. 4 soooo well even with my schedule my goal is to ideally be 15 lbs. down from my lowest point but ideally, regardless of what happens here my first and foremost goal is to just post and be involved when I can.

Things are going well but busy as heck. I have been so active! The sale fell through and we are at it again and remodeling another place. Thank god I exercised all winter so I have the stamina to do this now because I assure you without doing that there is no way I would of held up like I am now.

Okay, so first and foremost, posttttttttttt! Dear lord, I hope my life slows down a bit and I can, lol. Second, lay off the carbs again and third, may a 12-15 lb. loss follow by labor day. I just want to eat clean, I feel so much better.

I always felt and feel that the body follows the mind! This is something I will remember and I wish us all the best of everything! Keep up the awesome work and I so hope to catch up with you all soon.

Much love, weekend boater :

My Labor Day Goal:

CW: 249
GW: 213

Alternative goal:

100% adherence to exercise plan (which takes sick days and rest days into consideration) and 95% adherence to diet plan. If I do that and I don't reach my goal weight I'll still call it a win.

Weekend! So glad to see you love! Fingers crossed for the house sale to work out in the absolute best way. Remodeling is INTENSE exercise. You go!

Lindifer & Magistra Hi darlings!

Sparrow I like so much that you allow for sick days and rest days -- letting your body be HUMAN! And you are right, striving for improvement in itself is a WIN regardless of weight goals. Cheers to you

This week is off to a good start. I have cut eating dessert for now. Today I started working with weights. I have a little waist whittling routine that I'm going to keep up with four days a week. Tomorrow I will add in walking. I'm trying to pay attention to my step count. Today I had 700 steps not including the workout. Let me see if I can increase my steps.

It is so nice to see so many familiar and new faces!!

Gulf congrats on being over half way to -50 down!! You had an amazing week, great job! I hope that you enjoy your vacation~ you might see a bump up, but most of that will be water retention! Plateaus don't necessarily happen to everyone, but I think the most important thing is patience that this process will work if you stick to it. It seems like it is taking forever, but if I look back at the past 6 months it has actually flown by in the blink of an eye. You are doing great!!

weekend I am so glad that you are here! It is nice to see you check in when you can. I am sorry that the offer fell through, but I believe that good things are coming your way. I am glad that all of your hard work exercising is helping you in more ways than just getting healthier! Do you guys have a lot left to remodel? I hope that you can make your goal, no doubt your steps are piling up!!

Good job cutting out deserts magistra! I wish I would have incorporated exercise from the very beginning, but am glad that I have the diet aspect down at least. I am soooo lazy though! Increasing your step count is a great goal!

Hi ladies

Just poking in to say hi.

How is everyone doing?

I know the summers can be challenging, at least for me!

Things are busy as heck here but I have not lost sight of my goals.

As always, my main objective is to be healthy. Seriously, with all this going on, we resorted back to carbs...some emotional eating and I literally wake up every morning feeling sick to my tummy! I hate it!!!!!! I have had enough negative reinforcement to just get back with the program, it was emotional eating at it's best but talk about being miserable!

I have been so busy and active that I am sleeping early which is good and makes such a difference for me. Still, I felt like a million bucks when I was eating clean and I sidetracked now! The reasons why ( I know why) don't matter! It is in the past, what matters now is that I get back on the track!!!

With all this being said, tomorrow is a new day my friends and I wish you the best of new days! May we all wake up to a great new day tomorrow!

When you get off track, it can be hard sometimes to get back on, keep it going, keep the pace up........keep shining

If we fall, we get back up! There is no other option! and incidentally I am working on picking myself back up again, I will ...smile damn! lol life can throw me a million curves but I have to learn to boomerang, pure and simples......will check back soon. Keep up the great work everyone

Hey everyone, I'd love to join in as well!
Starting weight - 258.8 nude (as of June 9, 2017)
Labor Day Challenge Goal weight - 229.8 lbs. (-29 lbs)
I no longer have a set weigh in day, how I plan to accomplish my goal is sticking to 1600-1900 calories a day & regular walks of at least 20 minutes a day, but more like an hour.

Hi ladies

Happy Saturday and hope that your all having a great weekend.

Joyful, Candid, and to anyone I missed welcome!

Looking forward to getting to know you all. DH and I started South Beach in mid November (thank god! lol ). I have lost over 30 lbs. and my plan was to lose more in spring and maintain in summer although it didn't quite pan out as I planned so now my goal is to gear it up for the rest of this month and July.

I hope that you are all having a great summer! Let's remember that we can do anything we set our minds to!
