Everyone else, helloooo!

OK, I am back and I am doing this! Pleasantly surprised with a 205.0 this morning, which puts me slightly down on my weight when I last weighed in on 27th Feb. However, I am still 2.5lb above my lowest weight and psychologically more importantly 5 above that onederland line...... I am hoping that with focus this month will be the month I see a 1-- on the scale, but I am happy to still be in the game and relishing getting back on it fully!

This week at work has been absolutely manic after returning from my trip. I am exhausted. I have had to drag myself out of bed each morning and drip feed myself coffee to get through 12-13 hour days in the office..... I am off tomorrow though, so just need to get through today and then I can recharge my batteries! I have been far from perfectly on plan, I haven't had the chance to do proper supermarket shop, the time to cook, and my freezer is almost bare. This evening I am making a plan for the weekend and the rest of the week, I am batch cooking tomorrow and making an exercise plan, this is my area to improve upon now. I am motivated, I will do this!

Ate within my calories yesterday. Got a good workout in & my weight is up .2. Blah I hate days like this. Maybe there is a possibility I will have a big drop soon. We will see.

What a week, I've missed keeping up on everyones progress. We've had storms, power outages, school meetings, just a really nutty few days but I'm still weight logging daily just not getting here to do it. Catching up now, seems like it's been a great week for many!

I've had to chill with my weight training, sore sore shoulder from an old tendon thing. Just elliptical and walking lately, somewhat interrupted by chaos and no power around here. And as usual my weight is being...just weird.

Hi girls :wave:

I just wanted to touch base, I didn't post for a bit and feel like I felt so behind! It is so important for me to be with you all here at the chicks site.

Just wanted to say hi and congratulate everyone on their successes so far! Any wrenches in the plan, we still have 3 weeks to go! :carrot:

I am doing well ladies, I have my days for sure! I did lose 1.6 thus far and just working hard, seeing every day as a new day! Some days I feel great and some days I don't! We just keep going and trying! I can't believe how fast the month is going by! I really can't.

I wish you all a great night and may we all wake up to a new and successful day tomorrow! Hope to catch you all soon! Hugs

kfunk6113: Thank you! And, I can definitely tell, too. :yes: As for the serving size, a single serving of water is 8 oz (US fluid oz), so 20 servings would equal 160 oz. It is how much I try to get in everyday, but I generally get in 12-16 servings on the average day...so, between 96-128 oz.


LovelyLeah: That's awesome! You got to enjoy the klub and still stay in Onederland...it was just meant to be, lol. ;)


takingcontrol: Thank you! I am trying to, at least...lol. You are doing great yourself considering the friends weekend and travelling, which throws every single one of us off. You're almost to Onederland now, too! I bet you will be following LovelyLeah there before you know it. ;)


Nicholsfamily1987: Sometimes I will stall or bump up a little after a heavier workout, then will drop a little suddenly after the body acclimates/rests...hoping the same will happen to you! :crossed:

I just realized that I logged my weight in on my chart yesterday, but never came to the end of this thread to make a post yesterday...whoops! Weigh-in yesterday was 252.8, so it looks like my body needed the break just as much as I did. As for my update today, it is below:

"My weigh-in was 252.0 today, which means I get my next little dragonfly in my signature. :yay: Haha. Had some issues with my FitBit tracking my entire walk last night - the little GPS map cut off about 20 minutes in and "circled" back to the starting point, which is weird because it logged all my steps, so it just made me look like I was at a snail's crawling pace the entire time and only showed half the map. So, my stored data on mileage was wrong, but at least it got my steps and calories burned logged, so I guess that's what really matters. Still frustrating though, because I'm trying to find the route that gives me 5 miles instead of 4 now, so that threw me off my calculations last night. I manually mapped it on Google after I got home and found that the one I took last night was only 4.3 miles, so trying one loop differently to see if I can get it up to 5 tonight. Hoping my FitBit will read right, so fingers crossed! Only got 12 on my water last night, but will continue to work on that as well."

Yesterday afternoon I had really bad anxiety and ended up binging a lot. And then the same thing happened this morning/afternoon. Oh well. What's done is done. I'm sure it won't matter one bit when this month is through.

Yesterday I wore a pair of jeans that wouldn't even button last week!! I feel like my body is letting go of the water it was holding on to last week (TOM). It is nice to see the scale moving again!

I hope that you make it to onederland takingcontrol!! Good luck getting settled in and organized!

Nicholsfamily: Wow, that is seriously amazing that you had averaged 10 lbs per month!! My start has been good, but I expect it to slow way down. I hope that you get your whoosh soon!

Opheliaphoenix: Congrats on getting another dragonfly! You are doing so well in every aspect. I need to add exercise into my routine. This seems so silly, but I really want to get into the 190's by June and I am afraid that if I start working out now that the scale will stall because of the water retention.

Hello everyone; today is Friday weigh-in day. I have a slow start to this month but I expect to ultimately make good progress this month.
I lost 8 lb during the last half of February.
Thank you opheliaphoenix for the words of welcome.

I failed my overnight pulse-oximeter test 2 weeks ago and now I have to take an overnight sleep study at the hospital. It's scheduled for Monday the 13th. If I fail that, I will have to start using a CPAP machine.
