    Thanks BW for the info - I am in japan but far away from Tokyo. My own efforts to find support groups in my own semirural area failed.
    I will check out the Tokyo group and the website that you mentioned. Thank you very much.
    I'm in the process of moving back to the US following this tragedy. We lived together in japan for 13 years.
  • bad bad month
    Congratulations to those who saw losses this month.

    For me, this is the kind of month that makes me feel I can't do this. Up 5.1lbs. I think that last time I steadily lost was March. I feel like two months have been wasted. And so... what? Nothing. Just see if I can have a good day and then a good June.

    onebyone if I remember correctly - you have had a lot going on these last few months. Give yourself the same measure of grace you would give a friend/loved one that has had the couple of months you've had. Re-group ... Re-member your WHY that you are doing this (for me it's so I can walk - literally!!) ... Re-focus. YOU CAN DO THIS!!

  • OMGoodness...Well, as much as I'm disappointed that I did not achieve my regular OR stretch goals, I'm pleased with every ounce I am down
    Starting - 261.6
    Goal - 249.8 (12 pounds)
    Stretch Goal - 246.8 (15 pounds)

    Actual ending weight: 256 (-5.8 pounds)
    I'm in for next time with an 8 pound goal...I'd love to see the next decade in June!
  • Weighing myself tomorrow! Forgot to do it today until after breakfast and being nearly out the door for work!

    My starting weight is 297.6. I hope I lost my goal of 10 pounds! I'll update my weight/goal on here tomorrow and will excitedly enter for June's challenge!

    I ended the month on 143.8 so minor loss from 1 May (144.7) but major loss from a gain in the middle of the month! All up. 0.9
  • My goal this month was to lose ten pounds.

    I started at 297.6 and made it to 285.6! Woohoo!

    Will be joining June's challenge.
