I took a long walk this morning. I was planning to do another this afternoon, but then I twisted my ankle while grocery shopping. My ankle is feeling a bit better now and I'm hoping that's a sign that this is a very minor injury!

Tuscany: I hope you heal fast! I used to suffer for a long time after a twisted ankle, but I think my ankles got smarter and refuse to twist so far. Now, I heal quite quickly.

Thanks, Joy. I didn't go for my walk today, but I managed to get in a short workout. My ankle is feeling much better this evening than it was yesterday and I no longer need my walking stick for balance, so I think I'll be back to my power walks tomorrow.

My ankle is now back to normal and the weather is starting to co-operate. I was able to take my walks today minus the hat and scarf, although I still needed my mittens! It's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow...yeah! :running:

I'm doing my usual this weekend: treadmill/elliptical in the morning when it's too cold to go outside, plus an afternoon walk, weather permitting. Our weather hasn't permitted much of anything of late. I'm getting tired of that four-letter word: SNOW.
Hopefully, it will warm up soon, because I can't wait to get back into my garden again!
