March Exercise Challenge

Let's roar into March like lions! Join the March Exercise Challenge!

State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

This thread is for fitness and exercise goals. For other weight loss goals, be sure to see our sister thread: March Weight Loss Challenge

Hello gardenerjoy

I'm in again for the month of March.
I still don't believe I can keep this up (sigh) so

I am committing to 10 minutes of
intentional exercise everyday this month.

I'm looking to make exercise a daily habit.

GardenerJoy - thanks for doing this thread again. It really helps to keep me motivated.

My March goals:
1. 1200 minutes of exercise (increase from Feb)
2. 6 WT sessions (STS as Feb)

K9Owner 03-01-2016 05:33 AM

Happy March everyone, GardenerJoy thanks for the thread, planting time is getting closer!

March goal, weeks 6-8 of 12 week program

Yoga 4x, strength 3x, cardio 6x a week
plus a behind the curtain step count goal, 6-10k per day, (6k allowed only if I use the ex. bike)

debest 03-01-2016 06:57 AM

My goals this month:

8,000 calories burned in exercies
Everyday that I workout I'll deduct them from here

SeeMyFeet 03-01-2016 08:01 AM

March Hare goal: do some exercise
March On Washington goal: do some more exercise
March Madness goal: double double...whatever that is :dizzy:

There. How committal is that? (and by "committal", I mean: "willingness to commit", though the other definitions might also apply)

I am struggling with the large desire and great need to exercise every day and allowing myself the luxury of personal time. Let's see what I can do during the next week....(dread anticipation of disappointing GardnerJoy!)

Need to recommit myself to exercise. Been intermittent with walking on the treadmill and some JM videos, so going to try to switch some things up.

March goal - 2 days Callanetics a week, 3 days other type of exercise (either treadmill or a different workout video to be altered - HITT or cardio).

Yay! I just started exercising again last week. I've been doing great, but it's really easy for me to get lazy and let it go again. For March my goal is to stick to my exercise plan for the whole month. The scale isn't always the best measure of progress, especially when you are working out so I took photos this morning and my measurements. Both of which were depressing! But I'm hoping to see some big changes on the first of April, especially if I stick with my March plan. Good luck everyone! :)

I need to revise my exercise goal!

Gardenerjoy I was down and out yesterday with this cold. Same for today. But that means that on March 2nd I have already failed my exercise challenge?! That can't be right. So, I'd like to revise my plan from 10 min everyday to 10 min everyday or 310/min this month done almost everyday.

3/1 sick. 0/310
3/2 sick. 0/310
3/3 sick. 0/310
3/4 11min walking NOT SICK!!! 11/310
3/5 10 min walking 21/310
3/6 10 min walking 31/310
3/7 10 min walking 41/310

Hi, Everyone!

My March exercise goals are:
spinning for 60 minutes, 4x a week
Beginners' yoga, 1x a week
Hiking for at least 60 minutes, 1x a week

I'm just getting over a stomach bug and haven't been moving much the past four days, so it's time to jump right back into an exercise schedule so I don't lose my momentum.
